Re: How to count how many days I was out of the UK for the last 5 years?

I always travel using my passport even within the EU...maybe that's how they managed to send a detailed record...who knows! For some, the request comes back empty and for others like me...detailed. If you are a club member of an airline, hotel, or Eurostar, they can provide a list too. Correction: O...

Re: Proof of ILR Settle status

Hi again, from my understanding "freedom from immigration time restriction" is your Settled Status...which is tied to your passport...so your passport should be sufficient and I see no harm in sending the pdf letter as well. I'm not an expert so please do wait for the moderators to respond. Edited b...

Re: Proof of ILR Settle status

Hi, just thought I'd mention it in case you're not aware: With Settled Status, you can apply for citizenship immediately IF you're married to a UK citizen . Otherwise, you'd have to wait 12 months from the date you received Settled Status before applying for citizenship. I'm probably stating the obv...

Re: How to count how many days I was out of the UK for the last 5 years?

Correction: Only useful if you travel frequently outside of the EU . You can make a Subject Access Request (SAR): https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration/request-personal-information-held-by-uk-visas-and-immigration Attach a cover letter stating...

Re: More than 450 days outside the UK

Looks like your options are to either pay £65 to apply for PR and if the HO deem you to have acquired it over a year ago (they'd list this date in the PR approval letter), you can then proceed with your naturalisation application or Apply for Settled Status for free and wait a year before applying f...

You can make a Subject Access Request (SAR): https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration/request-personal-information-held-by-uk-visas-and-immigration Attach a cover letter stating clearly that you want a SAR on Entry/Exit records and send copies of...

Re: More than 450 days outside the UK

Well in that case you haven't got PR. Hi, you mentioned holding a residency card...do make sure the Type of Document section in your blue card lists it as Document Certifying Permanent Residence (PR) and NOT Registration Certificate . This is a common mistake made by many who got their AN applicatio...

Re: Referee form panic

Hi, I made the same mistake as you and only realised AFTER posting my application (I opted for paper/postal application). Can you upload a cover letter explaining this? I very much doubt it will be an issue and I'm certain if it is, your caseworker would ask you to resubmit. I find the caseworkers a...

Re: British Citizenship application: supporting documents returned without a decision letter - What does that mean?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this during their application for citizenship. I sent in the paper application which was delivered to the Home Office on the 27th of February 2019. The application fee of 1330 pounds was taken from my account on the 11th of March 2019 and I got the...

Read through the AN guide and booklets (which is now changed), however it's still not clear: How long w...

I've just written to UKVI to find out about this. Will keep you posted if I hear...

Is the paper version of Form AN still accepted by UKVI?

Greetings folks, I completed the paper version of Form AN and posted it together with the required documents by post last week (14/3) to UKVI. Royal Mail tracking info shows that a UKVI staff signed receipt of this. I've just noticed that the paper form is no longer available online and am concerned...
