Name difference between degree certificate and passport

Hi All, My sir name has been abbreviated in all of my academic documents, whereas it is mentioned in full on my passport. Ex: Degree certificate FirstName L Passport FirstName LastName Will this cause any issue in my UK tier 2 visa application? If so what can I do to help my case? Thanks

Re: Advice required: Tier 2 visa rejected due to NARIC certificate not submitted and the new CoS rejected stating RLMT

Hi, The ECO would have requested your friend or his sponsor to submit the additional document within 10 working days when an UK NARIC english language proof was not submitted at the time of the application. If they have not done this then along with the missing english language proof there might hav...

Uk Tier 2 refusal due to multiple discrepancies but points assigned

Can an UK Tier 2 visa be refused due to multiple reasons and the ECO still assign points for it? Since the application has already been rejected due one other reason? My UK visa was rejected because I hadn't submitted any english language proof. I have got points for all other categrories (attribute...

Re: UK Tier 2 - unfair and partial treatment by UKVI

I have one more query. Can an application be rejected for multiple reasons and the entry clearance officer not mention it on the refusal letter?

Re: UK Tier 2 - unfair and partial treatment by UKVI

As I mentioned before I understood why I was rejected and did not tell that the ECO made an error. I am concerned about the fact that the ECO has to make the choice of whether giving an applicant an opportunity to send over the documents or not. This will certainly enable the ECO to be partial based...

Re: RLMT done and COS approve in six month

Why was the CoS approved by the home office when they clearly know that RLMT is expired?

UK Tier 2 - unfair and partial treatment by UKVI

I was recently refused a UK tier 2 (General) category visa because I had forgot to send a english language proof certificate with my application. I completely understand the reasons for refusal. However I also read the following excerpt from the Tier 2 Policy Guidance document. If you have submitted...

Re: VTU degree certificate for English language proof

Hi, Tier 2 visa does require a NARIC english language assesment and NARIC equivalent degree certificate. I listened to advise on this stupid forum and submitted just my degree certificate from VTU and got my visa rejected. Please take care that you submit the both of the documents from UK NARIC alon...

Re: UK Tier 2 incorrect documents submitted

Update on the above. I visited the Visa application centre in Bengaluru and filled the UKVI Visa withdrawal form with a cover letter stating that there are multiple issues in the application and that I would like to withdraw the application. I was advised that it will take 5 working days for me to g...

UK Tier 2 incorrect documents submitted

I had applied for a UK Tier 2 general visa on 22nd march 2019. However soon after biometrics I noticed that I had submitted an incorrectly dated offer letter. I had been offered a role on Jan 29th and my employer later realised that they had to perform a resident labour market test, so my offer was ...
