Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Mine has been as helpful as he can be, and he even called me back and gave me some advice after reading my wife's spouse refusal letter. So I took his advice and he will write and support the appeal, and hopefully provide some influence for the H/O to look at our case quicker for work related reaso...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Rexa, It won't hurt, but they can't do a great deal except write in support of your application, so I recently found out. Your MP might be able to get them to look into your case a bit quicker though, so in your situation I would certainly make the effort to call his office and let the PA know you ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hello lovely people, Been over 100 working days for us now. Applied on 8th April 2019. Last mail we have from UKVI is that they cannot give a timescale as to when the decision would be made. Going through a really tough time given our circumstances (personal reasons) Do you guys think contacting the...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

I have a similar timeline too.. date of application. 8th April and biometrics submitted 16th April. Received not straight forward email and then escalated twice. Last email states that they cannot give a timeline. TB certificate expires on the 25th of August. Documents haven’t been returned yet too....

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Sabs2019 Thanks for your msg. Yes I was thinking about the World Cup too. Surely would have been an unexpected load of applications that would have come through. I have written to HO and let’s see what they say. Like you said, might get back with the genetic response and in that case yes I’ve though...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hello, Thank you so much for your advice. Was actually wondering when exactly I should approach the MP. I too thought it might be a little too early right now. Will see how the response from HO turns out in the coming weeks and take a call on when I should contact the MP. Thank you so much once agai...

Re: Spouse Visa/ Previous Visit Visa Refusal

Spouse visa considerations sweep away some immigration sins of the past. Your previous refusals are not going to figure highly in the overall scope of things. It was not particularly bright to lie about your relationship in your previous visit visa applications but I doubt they will focus too much ...

Re: Spouse Visa/ Previous Visit Visa Refusal

I don't know who stupid got this idea for lying about relationships. there are many cases recently. is your marriage registered or just religious?? if you can change the marriage date in term of new registration etc then things will be a lot easier to explain. Thanks for your reply. It was an idea ...

Re: Spouse not declared previous marriage on visit visa application

My spouse was previously married but she was told not to declare her marriage for visit visa application, and was granted visa twice. But now we are married and the marriage certificate shows that she was previously married. This contradicts with previous applications. Will this cause a major issue...

Spouse Visa/ Previous Visit Visa Refusal

Hello Everyone, Please Help! (trying to keep a long story as short as possible) My wife had LR (not indefinite) when we got married in july 2016, and we moved to Dubai. at the time a lawyer advised that stating we were married may negatively affect her chances of getting her ILR. Thankfully she got ...
