Hi guys.

My timeline on this:

Application Type: Naturalised on 29th of April '19. First passport, passport express
Application Sent: 3rd of May
Application appeared on tracker: 7th of May
Status changed to processing application: 14th of May
Status Changed to Printing: 7th of June.

I would advise against doing this very much. It's already stressful with them and this is almost certainly not going to be accepted by them. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think it's worth the hassle.

I think it would depend on your current passport. Which passport do you hold at the moment? If it's a non-EU passport, I'm not sure how easy it'd be to travel after receipt of citizenship as you would need a GNIB, stamps etc. However, if it was an EU passport, for instance, a German passport, then I...

Just had an e-mail from them today saying that: Please be advised that invitations are currently issuing for the Citizenship Ceremony due to take place on 29/04/2019. Congrats! Looks like we might be on the same ceremony. :)

Fingers crossed the invitation gets back. I wrote them a reply asking 'does this mean I'm scheduled for the April ceremony' and they wrote back with ONE world ''yes''. lol 8) :D

Emails being ignored

Hello everyone.

Has anyone else found that their emails are now being ignored by Inis? I’ve emailed them four times over the past two weeks and had no response to any of them (nor can I call them because they’ve closed the phone line for a month)!

Got my approval yesterday. Wasn't expecting it at this stage. The wording of the letter is a little weird 'The minster proposes to grant you citizenship on successful completion of application bla bla'. Not sure whether to expect an invitation to the April ceremony but posted off the money and photo...
