I personally know someone who got stamp 1 for two years and in the letter it's mentioned that we are giving you stamp 1 for two years and in the meantime the department will decide which stamp to give (stamp 4 or they might create a new one GOD knows). officially it says that it could take up to 6 weeks and don't contact us in this regard before 6 weeks, so 4 weeks gone, hopefully we get before Christmas, fingers crossed.

WCATT is not something that many people have applied before, so the best option is to email them to confirm this. I would strongly advise against getting a WCATT if you are on 4EUFAM and that you have already been approved for EU3 (permanent residency). Some notable differences between EU3 and WCAT...

I was caught drink driving in 2007, my question is will that effect my stamp 5 application?
that's 14 years old and no other convictions before or after, not even the single penalty point on my drivers license. never been an undue burden on the state, always paying taxes.
