Re: When can you stop updating or reporting a change to the police after registration?

I found a similar topic on this forum (link is below) but, I wanted an answer for my specific case only. I do not think I should rely on a home office answer sent to another person as each case might be different or slightly different: https://www.immigrationboards.com/general-uk-immigration-forum/...

When can you stop updating or reporting a change to the police after registration?

Hi, This topic is related to if I should keep updating my police registration certificate after I got an EU settlement scheme as an EEA family member. The case: I came to the UK in 2013 on a student visa and was required to register with the police. I kept updating my police registration certificate...

Re: Traveling with Dual Passports

Thanks for your response. If I book a Ryanair flight ticket to Italy, then I will have to book a return ticket to UK (where I live) as well. When I leave Italy, I think I should provide advanced passenger information (API). For API (during check-in in Italy), I think I should be using my Dominican p...

Traveling with Dual Passports

Hi, I am an EU family member and I have an EU settlement scheme pre-settle status biometric residence card valid until 2024. Recently, I became a citizen of the Commonwealth of Dominica. This means I am a dual national/citizen (dual passport holder) and this passport does not replace my other first ...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi there Anyone else on here who has been waiting for a long time. I entered my BRP details in my application on 31.3.19 and since then was informed it was an error. Invited for biometrics on 14.06.19 and attended on 19. 06.19 and since then still no COA or any further communication. I emailed them...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi Sky, Can you please remind me what is COA? I am kind of new to this. Also, in my opinion which hopefully it will make you feel better is that since they have returned the BRP card to you/wife, then it means they have verified your identity and they started processing your application (which coul...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi, I was told the opposite. The EU resolution centre told me by email and by phone that I can use the BRP (Biometric Residence Permit) Card. Even by phone the lady told me I can select the option UK residence card with biometric chip! What's really confusing is that HOW CAN THEY SAY ON THEIR WEBSI...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

ANYONE HERE BRP( no brc) HOLDER GET PRE SETTLEMENT OR Surinder Singh route and used brp card as proof of Id So this might help all BRP (NOT BIOMETRIC RESIDENCE CARD) card holders. I have called the resolution centre again today and finally spoke to someone who seems to know what is happening. It tu...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

What really gets me is that we cannot use the mobile app (although brp has a bio chip) and if we have a brp we cannot use it (based on what Hayley said above). But to me they told me by phone and by email I can use my brp. WHY ARE THEY TELLING PEOPLE DIFFERENT INFORMATION? I called them last week an...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi all, I am trying to apply (online and by post option). In the beginning, they asked for my email address so the system can automatically send me a link so I can click on it and verify its my email and start the online application. The problem: I am not receiving anything. Tried different emails,...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi everyone, So here is an update. I called the EU settlement scheme resolution centre this morning. The person who answered was very helpful. I asked her exactly what I wrote in my post above. And she said since I have a BRP and I already did my biometrics (did it in November 2018 for my current B...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

You have holder a BRP , can you tell us after they have accepted your application, did they ask you to send to your BRP in order to give you a new BRC , or they just posted the new BRC to you ? They have no interest in my BRP since I used the Passport as id process flow. I took the passport with me...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi Katrina, 2.5 weeks is normal and you have the Coa so I am sure you will get your new card/status very soon. I understand. Unfortunately, I did not find a video on YouTube that explains the process from A to Z for non-EU family members who carries a BRP. I did not see law firm websites explaining ...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi AshJK

Continuing on my previous post to you. Did you send your passport by mail when you chose the passport flow? Because you need your passport when you do the Biometrics (fingerprints, face photo).

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi Ashjk The EU settlement resolution centre confirmed to me and it is also written on their website...that people who hold a BRP can send the BRP by post. Which to me is a bit strange...because when the online application process asks which document you want to use to prove your identity..we are le...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

I am confused about something. I am a non-EU family member with a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) Card. Please note, this is not the Biometric Residence Card (BRC). However, both have biometric chips and both are pink blue-ish cards. So, on the EU settlement scheme website. It says "you must send ...

Hi Katerina, Here is the link where it talks about the post. https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families/what-youll-need-to-apply If you scroll down the page to where it says 'send your document by post' in Bold, you will find it saying 'you must send your document by post if you have: Bi...
