Not by any Schengen consulate.

Re: Visa application refused

If she has the the UK residence card there is no need for a Schengenvisa if she travels with you. Should she travel alone or with her mother she still needs a visa but it's not free. Besides: if someone has a UK visa he or she does not need the Airport transit visa (ATV) from a Schengen country. So ...

Maybe my answer in another topic might be informative and of help. With regard to Directive 2004/38/EC visa issues it's unfortunately beter to avoid Belgian embassies anywhere in the world if possible. Re: UKBA To Charge For EEA Applications

I read the UK charges the same fee for the registration certificate which in my opinion is incorrect. The only requirements are stated in art. 8 par. 3 of Directive 2004/38/EC. No fee is mentioned there. So the certificate has to be issued free as do other member states. Anyone ever challenged this ...

Re: Travel with Residence Card - Success Stories

If you travel together in theory your wife could do so joining you without a visa (Brax-ruling). However she will have difficulties in boarding the plane. So it's best she applies for a visa from any Schengen embassy, as this will entitle her to enter the Schengen area of the EU with you. The visa ...

Re: Directive 2004/38/EC thread

The Embassy of the Netherlands in Beijing asked us to show our tickets, which we did. The visa was issued and the passport returned to my partner within 3 days. You didn't have to discuss anything with them? The Spanish Embassy in Beijing didn't ask to see tickets. The visa was issued in 20 minutes ...

Re: Directive 2004/38/EC thread

First of all you have a free period of stay of three months. So has your wife. So at the border there is nothing to tell or arrange. Your right to stay for more than 3 months (and thus her right) is based on you working there. When you have already your contract you can just register in your new ...

Sorry, did not read your last line.

But why all the fuss?
She can travel on her own without a visa.
Her marriage with you does not add anything substantial (with regard to her visa free travel possibilities).

Re: Directive 2004/38/EC thread

Unfortunately your wife will have to apply for a visa at the Spanish Embassy/Consulate in London. However: the visa is free and she shouldn't show more than the marriage certificate (and you passport). It will help if the marriage is registered in the UK one way or another, though this is not ...
