Or does the (British settled person) sponsor's inco...

I sent my application on Tuesday the 29th of October via check and send. Still no text message of acknowledgement, nor HMPO was able to find and confirm that they have received such application when I asked by email and phone.

Should I panic?

There are close to 200,000 naturalisation applications a year. Just because a few applications reported on this forum took longer than othe...

How come home office has started to grant quick approvals to applicants from categories EEA, spouse, ancestry which were taking months to conclude until September 2013? Curious that applicants from Tier 1, Tier 2, HSMP which were formerly considered as straightforward hence quickly approved are not ...

This month's trend is EAA, dependant and spouse applications receive quick approvals whilst tier based applicants had none as of the moment.

It has always been vice versa until September, will never understand HO system..

If you are a British Citizen by birth and prove it then your son should be born British. I am not sure about the path to follow when you are out of UK but in UK you simply apply for the passport for the boy.

Maybe consulate may advice better.

What I remember reading in the forums before is it is still valid as a card when it's read in the machines of Border Control however since you have become a BC your card does not mean much anymore.

Home Office does not require you to send it back to them for some reasons.
