Not sure that the embassy will help you - but the best thing you could do is ask them. http://www.chinese-embassy.org.uk/eng/lsfw/legalization/t624438.htm 4. Can I apply for notarization from the Chinese Embassy for documents executed in China? No. Documents executed in China to be used in foreign c...

The "positive bank balance" is to demonstrate that as of the date of the statement, you have sufficient funds to cover your stay. The fact that you've been £300 overdrawn shouldn't be an issue if you now have a positive balance and proof of funds. The reason to have 3 months bank statements is to sh...

Immigration Appeal - IA35 Documents?

I am doing my best to help a friend whose visa application for her mother whose application was rejected on the basis of insufficient information (my friend naively didn't provide nearly enough supporting documentation) and also some other spurious reasons clearly copied and pasted from a standard r...

Can't advise on your first question, though your good immigration history should work in your favour when making an application for multiple entry. My suggestion would be to apply for a multiple entry visa to the embassy of the next country you need to visit. To answer your second question, yes - yo...

Yes, you as a British Citizen can travel to France without a visa of any kind. Your wife, however, will require a Schengen visa from the French Embassy, though she will not have to pay for it.

What would help is the EXACT WORDING of the UK Entry Clearance Officer's refusal notice.

You can always visit them. Not helpful, Wanderer. That's a reasonable response to serial immiogration offenders who squeal about Human Rights, but not to someone who would (apparently) like to bring his parents to the UK for a visit. sachingpt, my guess is that your parents would need to show booke...

ILR = Indefinte Leave to Remain; therefore, the visa lasts indefinitely. As and when your wife needs to renew her passport, she can choose to apply for a Transfer of Conditions and copy the ILR in to her new passport, or to simply carry the old and new passports whenever she travels. My wife has don...
