Hello all! Good news! I just submitted my online application for the passport through the online system. I believe today is the first day you can do so from the United States as a first time applicant. Didn't take very long, but will have to secure a witness to my application tomorrow. Best of luck...

Nothing yet. Not holding my breathe since even when I get the FBR cert. it'll be a few months to get the passport. Things are finally starting to open up in Ireland - received my passport today, which marks the end of my journey after almost two years of waiting - would never have imagined it would take that long when I first applied but grateful nonetheless to be able to apply for citizenship. Good News! I just received my FBR and all of my supporting documentation in the post today! My FBR says I was entered into the registry on December 18, 2020, just as they were going into lockdown.
