ILR QUERY - TO PLAN FOR FUTURE

Dear members, The forum was very helpful in securing my tier 2 General visa. As I am going through so many posts of trivial things which went wrong later down when they apply ILR. So just want to seal all gaps in immigration route. I was issued Tier 2 Visa : 08-AUG-2019 Landed UK(Confirmed): 14-Aug-...

Re: IHS 0 FEE CHARGED

:o :o I have no idea. Did you give your COS dates correctly? Probably experienced moderators can say.
I paid for 3 years but did not mention anything saying 3 years. it calculates the fee based on CoS dates.

Re: IHS 0 FEE CHARGED

Yes monday biomtrics. Saturday courier delivered.

The best is to pay in INR. Paying GBP would again add exchange rate conversion on INR fee and calculate even higher.

I ended up 1280 in my UK credit card for what was supposed to be 1200 :-)

Re: IHS 0 FEE CHARGED

Received visa.

In case if you have provided any IHS number of earlier visa and IHS calculates to 0, ignore that application and start fresh and pay correct IHS fees. This way you will reduce delay later.

The fee showed in INR. ~70K priority. and ~107K for IHS. You can pay in any currency card (Master /Maestro / / VISA) (appropriate exchange applies)

When you get appointments the very next day why would anyone go for walkins :D Is mumbai VFS for UK overbooked? Did you check ?

While redirected to IHS site for filling details, there was a query about will you join someone who is in UK and it asks their details. I answered - YES and provided my husbands IHS n...

Though technically you can do that form filling and book appointment , the facts that you convey in your appointment about your recent travel history (Duration of stay) and dependents location (if applicable) will be incorrect. Eg : Do you live with your dependents : Ye...

Where are you going to make the application. From Oman or India? If you are planning to apply from Oman. Since you have stayed only for 3 months in 2017. It has been more than 6 months you have stayed in Oman after your visit. You don't need TB test. "Who does not need to be tested You will not need...

Sorry mate. Your cooling period has already kicked off.
You cant apply for extension. Ideally you must have applied for extension around May 2019 from UK and must have not traveled out of UK before a decision.

Now your ICT has expired and already you are in cooling period.
