Re: BRP Delivery

My husband received his pre-settled status in March and also hasn't received his BRC. I've emailed twice with no reply and was going to call them about it too. Do you also live in Scotland? Nope, we're in the Midlands, I called them multiple times and finally they sent it through last week. We'd be...

Re: EEA Family permit

That's terrible that this has taken so long for you to hear something. For my husband, the visa was valid from the date the decision was made which will probably be the November date for you. We also kept his passport during his application as it was his only form of ID so when he went to coll...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application:

Hi , just a small update regarding my friend's application which he applied in October last year. Every time he tried to view his status online he used to see the following message, 'Sorry these details do not melt our records'. But today when he checked his status it gave him an option to send a c...

Re: Surinder Singh questions

Hello Rob3K, I went on this website: https://www.gov.uk/family-permit/surinder-singh & I think I chose the "Family member of an EEA national" option. It gives you all the information that you need to provide and there is also an "Apply for an EEA family permit" section on the same page (you'll have ...

Re: Surinder Singh questions

Hello, I'm not an expert but my non-eu partner received pre-settled status under this route. First we applied for an EEA Family permit in Germany (where we lived together) which allowed them to reside in the UK for 6 months(they could work, study, receive benefits etc). When we arrived in the UK I c...

Re: NHS and Surinder Singh route application/BRP

I just received a letter from NHS that they want proof that I can receive medical services. I was approved a BRP based on the Surinder Singh route. Is that card enough? Do I have to pay or the mentioned surcharge? As far as I'm aware you don't have to pay a surcharge. You could maybe print a proof ...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application:

Only once a decision is made, will a paper applicant be able to access a status online. If a status is not showing online, then it means a decision has not been reached. Just a bit of update for an application I made on behalf of a Surinder Singh applicant. Application lodged on 25th September 2019...

Re: Surinder Singh (PLEASE ADVICE)

Thank you. I do have 2 payslips but it is less than £100 so will have to do more hours or find something else. I also do a online job but they don’t provide payslips and I get paid to my bank so I guess this cannot be accepted for the application. Will do my best. Hope I will be lucky before the br...

Thank you for the information. Do they need a employment contract or is payslip enough? I know what else is needed I have checked the list.
I think if you can provide as much information as possible it'll look better. Payslips should be enough though. My application was a little different though.

I know that part time job is acceptable for the surinder singh application. Any one know how much weekly is required minimum?
I’ve read somewhere that €160 a week is a good amount to earn.

Re: Surinder Singh (PLEASE ADVICE)

You can be self-employed or a student too. I studied at a language school for a couple of months. This also shows your integration in the member state. You need CSI (comprehensive sickness insurance) for being a student though.

EEA FAMILY PERMIT - What happens after expiration?

Hello all, I'm a BC and my husband is non-EU. I'm just worried since it's taking a whil...

Re: EU-Romanian and UK-Naturalised, marrying Japanese

I don't know how Dual Citizenships work with EEA family permits but I'm a BC with a Japanese spouse. We married in Japan and are moving to the UK next month from Europe with their EEA Family permit which we hope to change to pre-settled status for them. I feel that the EEA family route is certainly ...
