Life in Uk original taken by NCS?

Dear all,

I just had the NCS appointment for my wife and the lady took the original 'Life in uk' certificate and gave us the copy. Se said this rule came in to affect around 3 months ago?

is it true? When I did mine last year, they didn't take the original.

Thanks

How long was she absent in the final year?
In he final year only 15 days. So you are saying 'personal' will be better than 'To finish study' ?

Thanks

"TO FINISH STUDY" is a good reason?

Dear all,

My wife's ncs appointment is coming. She went to back home two times ( 100+ days both times) to finish her degree. In the reason field can I write 'To finish study' does this sound good? Or should I write something else such as 'personal' etc?

Thanks for your advice.

Re: Absence reason for wife's application

I misunderstood. She should write the reason for each of her absences. My point was that she is well within limits and apart form a very short description like holiday/personal/business there is no reason to explain further. Thanks. So, what will be the reason? she went to complete her studies. So ...

Re: Absence reason for wife's application

If she was less than 270 days absent in the last 3 years you don't have to write anything as reason for her absences. She has to have been absent for less than 90 days in the final year. In the form where you write down your absence (page 8) , there is a field for 'reason'. You are saying it can be...

Absence reason for wife's application

Dear all, I am planning to apply for my wife's naturalisation application. She had 2 long visits (139 and 110 days) backhome for finishing her studies back home in the last 3 years. Including one more small visit it totals up to 264 days. 6 days less than the limit of 270 So, as long as it is less t...

Re: Cohabitation documents TOTAL 6 or 18?

It means that all the documents in total must come from at least 3 different sources, so if all were joint, you'd include 6 joint letters over the last 2 years which came from 3 different sources, e.g., 2 from the bank, 2 council tax and 2 credit cards. Not 3 sources for every 4 months, one source ...

One joint letter or a letter each for every 4 months of the last 2 years, from a total of at least 3 different sources. Hi amber, Thanks for reply. But I am at same limbo I am afraid :( "from a total of at least 3 different sources" So the source is just mix and match? On June I give 1 joint letter...

Hello friends, Got a silly question. If it was answered before, I apologise :P In the countersignature section (10th section) there is a line saying " I confirm that I have known the person named in section 2, or in the case of a child, the adult filling in section 9 (insert their name)" so do I nee...
