@chuchill, I believe they will overturn their decision before it goes to court I had the same issue in July and appealed as am writing now am in the UK , got here yesterday and everything looks OK. All the best.
So after 6months got my visa approved. This passport has been with them since on the 12 nov 2019 I was not called either emailed to just decided to go there and check why it been awhile and the it goes the envelope laying there . Got just some few days to check out. Thanks to everyone.
You don't need to be confused we are in the same boat submitted my passport back and it 3week now still no response I called and they say to me they can't give a specific time frame so I guess we just got to keep waiting. Good luck
@N_a u would need to wait for 4-6 weeks before u get an appeal ref. And pls don't just leave everything to a solicitor get involve know and understand what he/she puts in the appeal form...they can be misleading at times there has been several cases of such.

The money was taking from the account the same day. The letter I first received was from the tribunal acknowledging they received an appeal from me (4week) after appealing and this one today 30/10/19 came after 6weeks after the tribunal one.
@juane8, just got an email from the HO that the refusal has been overturn.This is after 6weeks of receiving a letter from the tribunal. Most greatful to God and everyone who contributed to my topic. God bless.
I don't think ihs are refund automatically, I had an experience in 2016 with ihs and it took them a year to fund the money back and that was after I sent them an email which they did respond to say authorised payment and in some day I got the money back. So I advise to send them an email.
@N_a , when u make an appeal ,u will get a letter by post from the tribunal telling you that your appeal had been received and a copy of that letter will be send to HO to let them know you sent an appeal to the tribunal this took 4weeks in my case. The money was taken the moment we made the payment.

Thank you very much for your post. I did appeal as I said I will and received a letter on the 19/08/19 from the tribunal saying they have sent request to ECO and that I wouldn't need to do anything for now so am patiently wait for any news. Just praying they overturn their decision.
@wahida, sorry no one can tell if it has been granted or not until you open it. What it means is that a decision had been made and ur result in on the way.Good luck

If you meet all requirements he needs to go back home and make fresh application but he should be sincere when filling a new application form cos questions about he receiving medical help in the UK will be ask if anything cos wrong he may be refuse on wrong information.pls, take ...
I had a very bad experience concerning this Ielts test which I wouldn't wish for you in order to clear all doubts pls kindly sit for what they required for. Getting an application refused is a serious night problem.
@bianworld, i dont think the home office will need a passport to ascertain the nationality of your child ,they run a system that every child born and registered ( with birt cert) goes into their system but having a passport could be a plus but that should not affect you anyway.
