Thanks Aman. I am a bit confused here. When you say delay the biometrics how can I delay biometrics. What do you mean with delay biometrics. Simply book the latest available slot or ukvcas send me the appointment I have to attend. Sorry all these rules and process has changed since I extended my visa.

I have taken the Life in the UK test thinking I can apply for ILR. Now I have to apply for extension first and apply maybe ILR in 2 years. Does my test result expire?

Why it is different for spouse visa?
I thought it would be same as dependant visa. Would you please point me to the exact paragraph?
