Safest way is to ask for a visa from INIS. They give you a visa if you have a valid stamp but waiting for GNIB card. You need to send them the copy of your flight tickets as they give visa valid for the duration of the trip, not for whole duration of gnib card. I explained it under this post for ...
I applied for citizenship as well. They didn't ask my IRP card yet but I anticipated that would happen to me at some point. So I asked them what to do in case of this. Short answer is: You can apply for re-entry visa if your IRP card is with the citizenship division. Here are the responses I got ...
Hi there, I was just wondering. Ive been in NI for over 10 years under EEA/ permeant residency with no restrictions. Came here with my mum and my step father (Irish) and also have younger siblings who are Irish and I'm the only one in my family that has an Thai passport with EEA sticker stamp on ...

"processing of your application is well advanced stage and you will be informed of the Ministers decision in due course" I only got one letter ...

Yes, I have the 1st stage letter 2 days ago. I have 5-6 friends who applied 1,5 years ago and still didn't get 2nd stage letter. That's why I said your application seems quick enough. It doesn't hurt to ask anyway but they always have standard response, saying nothing about the process at the end ...
I got my letter 2 days ago so I don't think I should. For your case, I am not sure exactly but if it was me, I wouldn't contact. Because it looks like your application is being processed very quickly so I don't see any problem. Do we need to contact Citizenship dept to get an update? :?: I applied ...
I applied in March and got 1 letter only, which is I think it's a combination of Acknowledgement and 2nd stage. It says "Your application has now been initially assessed and has proceeded to the second stage of application". They requested police clearance certificate also in the same letter, which ...
Applied in late May, got acknowledgement and 2nd stage letter (in the same letter) roughly 3 weeks ago. Hi, I got a letter similarly as well. A friend told me it sounds like first and second stage letter together. However it doesn't state that it's second stage. Does it say explicitly in your ...
