Re: EU Settlement: Lounes paper form?

Apologies for misleading here, I was only trying to help. Of course I am so happy to stand corrected, so thank you for this. My initial plan was to get married mid 2020 and I found myself rushing to get papers sorted before Brexit. I am pleased to learn the deadline for the EU settlement is almost a...

Re: Lounes case, pre-settlement

1) Would anyone know if the Lounes route could be applied for online now? A link would be great if so. 2) Alternatively, what is the best number HO number to inquire about an Lounes route application form? 3) Can I ask for a Lounes route form in behalf of my wife-to-be, who is based in Japan? (We're...

Re: Lounes case, pre-settlement

I am not an expert and your situation is somehow atypical. What I can say is that I was once on a 5 years working permit and 4 years after I got that permit Romania joined EU. I was planning to apply for indefinite leave to remain after 5 years. Instead of checking, I immediately applied for the EU ...

Re: Lounes case, pre-settlement

Congrats and thank you for sharing the good news. I really hope 31st of October doesn’t bring changes to the Lounes paper application.

So good to hear it works, it gives us hope :)

Re: Lounes case, pre-settlement

I think that’s more than enough as a proof. All I had was my application/ work permit number.

Re: Lounes case, pre-settlement

Would you know if a Japanese marriage certificate (translated and authorised in the UK) could be submitted using the Lounes route? Also attempting to answer your question re passport... as long a...
