Re: Mother with Sole Responsibility

1, There are no legal documents on that but just verbal agreement between the two. A verbal agreement is not worth the paper it is written on. You may want to get something in writing, ideally in a court judgment. God will bless you and increase you with good knowledge and wisdom. The lawyer has al...

Re: Mother with Sole Responsibility

@THO, this was in the news just a few days ago. BBC News: UK men offered £10K to pose as dads in visa scam, BBC investigation finds I saw that and wondered how long it will be before we see these using that scam on here; calling themselves "victims". PLEASE, MAKING THIS TYPE OF YOUR COMMENT IS NOT ...

Re: Mother with Sole Responsibility

Has the father agreed formally to cede sole responsibility to the mother? Is there a legal document that sets that out? Is the father normally resident in the U.K.? Has the child been issued with a U.K. passport? Answers to all your questions. 1, There are no legal documents on that but just verbal...

Re: Mother with Sole Responsibility

Thank you for your reply.

But how many years should your relationship be to apply for a fiancee visa from outside the United Kingdom? And the document needed. Thank you.

Re: FLR M FROM FIANCEE

You have just put yourself under unnecessary stress. You could have just asked anybody at the registry to be your witness and have photos taken when the latecomer witness Fela arrived. Anyway, good luck.

Re: Mother with Sole Responsibility

Thank you so much Vinny for your time and expertise. I think the only option is to find her way to the UK in order to benefit from FLR FP as a parent to a British child. Please does she has to marry a settled or British citizen outside the UK with a marriage certificate in order to apply for the spo...

Re: FLR (M) low income and benefits

Were the kids not born in the UK? so that you can just register them as British and that will reduce your both employment household income to £18600 for your wife application alone.

Re: Not enough cohabitation evidence

Try and go to your GP and request a letter to state when you have registered in their practice together if you have. Also ask your neighbour to write a letter to state how long they have known you living together but you will need a copy of their ID and proof of address. That might fill the gap for ...

Re: FLR (M) Urgent advice please!

The date on your employer letter has nothing to do with your application submission date as long as the letter states that you are still an employee of that company and the nature of your contract. Also your last payslip or bank statement depending when it is generated should not be more than 28 day...

Thank you for reminding me of my previous post, so sorry, I should have created a new thread. What happened was I am waiting from the PRCBC case next month over the minor British Registration application fee and her dad just wanted to apply for her. Basically, I quite understand your point on the is...

Re: FLR m decision at same time for spouse and dependants??

Who, to be honest when you click submit automatically the system will generate the list of the documents that you will need to. That is what I worked on but if you are not married then you do not have to worried about marriage cert as the 2 years living together and the child proofs will be enough t...

Re: FLR(FP) parent 10 year route to 5 year route

Go on Google and type, Apply to extend your stay in the uk: Form FLR (FP).GOV.UK Then click on applying as a parent for five years route and also scan through the income requirements and see threshold expected of you depending on how many non UK citizens children you got. If you're switching 100% yo...

Re: FLR(FP) parent 10 year route to 5 year route

I guess you hold a valid status in UK before you got your FLR FP 10 years in the past? Because without that you cannot apply for 5 years route as parent even if you meet the threshold. And this is my point about income in my previous comments and both of them says it doesn't exist. If I can find whe...

Re: FLR(FP) parent 10 year route to 5 year route

My response was based on the very question I asked whether she's changing because she has a settled/ British partner and she said no! FLR FP is a common route for parents with sole responsibilities and also some couples that in some circumstances they both shared responsibilities over their children...

Re: FLR(FP) parent 10 year route to 5 year route

There was nothing to clarify as to why she was on 10 years route. It is for the people that have sole responsibility on either a British child of any child that has lived/ born in UK for at least 7yrs without documentation or any settled partner. Go online and fill FLR FP Parent route on 5years. And...

Re: FLR(FP) parent 10 year route to 5 year route

In that case you still need to fill FLR FP but 5 years route provided you can meet requirements on £18600,housing standard paperwork and English language test preferably B1 English test.

Good luck

Re: FLR m decision at same time for spouse and dependants??

Please how do you deal with your undelivered BRP for your dependant? My daughter own was delivered but mine wasn't (mother) and I guess deliberately HO doesn't want to send cards at ones.

I didn't even get any email of approval at all, the daughter card was issued on 20th of April 2021
