I did submit my P&L and Balancesheet for the earnings period even I was claiming only salary points to be on safe side. But I have seen so many people didnt submit and got visa approved. So it just depends what case worker think. Having said that if your salary + dividend is enough for points then ...

I did not contact them as it was approved within 3 working days.

But you can definitely chase them. Just send them fax every few days and eventually they will atleast reply.

Waiting is the worst bit. But some people have also waited a month before decision.

I was given same letter on 15/03/12 at Sheffield PEO and received approval letter yesterday.

Dont know why they couldnt make decision same day.

I was self employed working through my own company.

It depends sometimes they give quick decision and sometimes they take few weeks.

Just want to update all here. I went to Sheffield PEO on 15th March and they only give me a letter saying your application is valid and they will need to do further inquiries. Yesterday I received my approval letter and today BRP also. I wasn't asked any questions at PEO so don't know why they didn ...

Re: T1 (G) Ext : Fee payment by Debit or Credit Card...?

Hi All, I am sorry if my query seems to be very trivial but still I think its better to ask for help rather than remaining in confused state. I am planning to apply for T1 (G) extension coming week and would like to know about the preferred way of making payment. I am bit confused if I should use ...

Economically active clause was for HSMP and JR applications but for HSMP (after Nov 2006) + Tier 1 (General) all you need to satisfy is the points criteria. So being unemployed in-between is definitely not an issue. All the best, I am sure you will hear back with good news soon. Thank you for your ...

Thanks a lot guys. I wish the same for all of you. It also reiterates that despite absences, cases do get approved. I had 216 Business related absences and 179 Personal absences. On top of that I had 1 year unemployment between 2009 - 2010. So Tier 1 has no issues with employment gaps. Just ensure ...

Can I ask when you said you were in contact with case worker, did you making calls to them?

I guess if you provided all the supporting documents then you will have good case for appeal. I will only suggest go for the appeal now you only have that option.

If you are self employed did you get any letter from Accountant to confirm your business earnings?

I believe if you are claiming profits from business then accountant letter is must. And even if you claim dividend and salary accountant letter is required.

What documents did you submit?

Sheffield PEO - No Decision Taken

Hi All, I know premium appointment doesn't guarantee same day decision but just want to ask if anyone has faced similar situation. Had 9am appointment today. Went there 8.30 and paid fees around 9.15 and biometrics done around 10.30. Now round 11am case worker called me and he only said he has my ...

Hi All, I'm not coming in between the arguments. The thing is UK government doesn't ask you come to their country. It is us who are in need so we have to obey their rules even if their rules are silly. If you don't want to obey their rules than they have so many people waiting in queue to come to UK ...

You can not switch from post-study dependent to Tier-1 within UK.

I have to come to India to switch to Tier-1 General.
