Re: Missing exit stamp in passport

I think I might have made a mistake in my application.

The question: "Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time?"... I answered "No" to this question.

But I have 3 British children.

What do I do now? I could still add this to the cover letter.

Please help!

Re: Referees - clarification on "Relative"

This is what a moderator said in June about this on this forum when someone was asking about a mum's first cousin to be used as referee: "Any relative by/through blood or through marriage is a family member and can't be used."

Re: Missing exit stamp in passport

Thank you so much for your replies!

And sorry, I realise I've been a bit unclear.

We travelled from UK to UAE in Dec 2017 and got an UAE entry stamp.
We left the UAE a week later via Dubai Airport and didn't get an exit stamp.

Missing exit stamp in passport

I'm an EEA citizen and have travelled to the UAE in December 2017 and didn't get an exit stamp when I exited. We travelled back through Dubai, does this happen that they forgot to stamp the passport there? Should I mention this in the cover letter?

Many thanks in advance

Proof of Residence: Online Council Tax Bills?

Hi all! Can I just print out online council tax bills and use them as proof of residence for my citizenship application to cover the 3 year period? Or do I need to get them stamped by the council? Or do I need to request original letters printed & posted by the council? Thank you so much in advance

Re: Permanent residence card necessary before applying for citizenship?

If anyone is reading this, I'd love to hear which ones would be useful to prove residence in the UK - Local Government Pension Scheme Annual Benefit Statement - HMRC general correspondence - a letter from landlord - letters from employers confirming that I worked there - Companies House letter - P60...

[Please help!] Documents to prove presence in UK

Thank you CR001! As I'm married to a British citizen I'll be able to apply immediately for citizenship now. And apologies for starting separate topics, I thought that would be easier for others to only read about those parts of my application concerning them too. But I will stick to this one thread ...

Re: Documents indicating presence in the UK

Thank you for your reply Zerubbabel, I appreciate it and you make a lot of sense! For example, you raise a point that I already suspected: an official letter from my kids school confirming that I live at my address and that my kids have been at that school since 2013 doesn't hold much weight. How ca...
