7 years child - ILR

Hi,
Can someone please explain new 'private life' rule changes from April 6th 2022 onwards?

I guess it provides a quick route for children in UK to get ILR?

Re: PSW Dependents

Hi,

I think you can't bring family as PSW dependents unless they are already are your student visa dependents in UK.

Please check the rules once.

7 years child route

Hi all,
I have a general question. Is 7 years child route is a straight forward application?
If a child lives in UK legally for 7 continuous years, can the parent apply for this route and succeed without any problems?
In what cases this application might get rejected?

Thanks for clarification. So, home office announcement that psw won't lead to settlement would mean about 5 year route?

Re: Showing Funds in UK

Thanks for the reply. No, i think i am mostly clear now. The rules can be interpreted like how ever we wish to be like. I am only unclear about the 28th day of a bank statement. In my case, (17/09/2020 - 19/10/2020) if 17/09 is the 28th Day then my bank statements would not be eligible. But from you...

Re: Showing Funds in UK

Hi, Thanks for the reply. So The documents are eligible then. Just to be clear, The bank statements i took are for the dates (17/09/2020 - 19/10/2020). Therefore, the final 28th continuous day would be 19/10. if i make application on Nov10th, 19/10 is inside 31 day period window. therefore it is eli...

Re: Switch from Tier 2 ICT Dependent to Tier 4

Hi, Thanks for reply. The term 'urgent' is not clearly defined in the Government website. My course is starting in September 2020 wouldn't that be not good enough to be treated as urgent? (they already mentioned in website) As there is no possible way of making application from home country? Kindly ...
