First British Passport for Mother & Child

Hi

My ceremony is on 12 Jan and planning to apply for British passport for both myself and my son on same day.
Can we make combined application or these are 2 different applications ?
Can I send the documents in same envelope or different for both ?

Nope checklist doesn’t ask for my BRP. It only asks for my consent for verification checks (2 times in the checklist) but never asks for my BRP.
