Life in UK Test

When do I actually need to take the Life in UK Test?

Before my 1st extension? Or before ILR?

I’m on my first 2.5 year on spouse visa.

Re: Update on my application

Have you opt for “keep my passport”?. Yes I paid extra $75 to keep my passport as I needed to travel. I didn’t inform them of my travels after the application submitted, I hope it is okay. They will find out after I submit my passport. I just hope I get granted the visa. Question: will the vignette...

I was sternly warned that I was not allowed to work on this visit.
Does that mean your clock for ILR did not start on that trip?
Did you have to enter again the next time with the sponsor?

You can also collect at one of their centres for free at your convenience!!
Can you please elaborate on this? When do I choose the Centre, during application? Or after first failed delivery?

Re: Understanding Visa Expiry Date

Thanks for the great replies, it’s a relief. Speaking of marriage certificate, I can’t remember if I mentioned it before, My wife and I are originally Syrians, she was born in UK and hence is British citizen. I hold Australian passport. We got married in Syria 25 years ago and our marriage certifica...

Hi Waleed Could I ask how you checked the docs were uploaded? I was told that they can’t see what is scanned but I did pay the fee for the scanning service by VFS [/quote] Once you sign in with VFS it will ask for application number GWF and email address. Cohabitating: foreign sources

It is possible to count foreign sourced evidence for cohabitating in UK address?

For example, Australian Tax Notice sent to our UK address? Or Australian bank statements sent to us in UK with UK address on them?

Re: Refusal based on lack of evidence (although the evidence was supplied)

My main concern is the upload facility via VFS Global. I had so much trouble with the system, it makes me wonder if they have actually seen the documents. I checked this morning, and the documents they requested are on the system. It’s the same concern I have. I uploaded the documents and I checked...
