Yes, that's the magic number. 6 payslips showing more than £1550 of revenue and you are in position to sponsor.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to help us out. Appreciate it my friend.

Re: UK Spousal visa, income met through overtime

If you are reading 5.5.8 it's for people with less than 6 months with the current employer. For instance, if you changed employer 2 months prior the application, so you are showing 4 payslips from employer X and 2 payslips from employer Y . In that case, future overtime is assumed to be zero and on...

Re: UK Spousal visa, income met through overtime

You have to demonstrate that over 6 months. They look back 6 months and they take the month with the lowest revenue. Overtime is included but make sure the salary never drops bellow the minimum for 6 months. It also states overtime will not be taken into consideration for future pay. What does this...

UK Spousal visa, income met through overtime

I hold a salary-based job which pays 14,200 GBP per year. The past two months there has been lots of overtime and provided this continues for another four months, I will meet the income requirement of 18,600 per year. Would I be able to submit six months' worth of payslips if they are all based on o...

Spousal visa

My job at the moment doesn't pay 18,600 GBP per year. I am relentlessly searching for new jobs and applying. Once I get a job that pays 18,600 GBP per year, and then my wife applies for a spousal visa as soon as I've held the job for six months, would the length of time I have held my current job be...

Can non-qualifying people claim beneifts?

When applying for something like a UK visit visa - or just entering for 6 months without a visa - is the wonder whether the applicant has enough funds to cover their travel period. My question is can those without status in the UK claim benefits? If they can, I understand UK immigration rules' case....

Re: Visit visa refused

Hello, There is no appeal rights when applying for visit visas for the UK. You haven't said why your father was refused. Most often, it's because of Paragraph 4.2 (a). This section on the Immigration Rules refers to the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) not believing your father will leave the UK at the...

Re: Family Visa UK help!

The outright difference in price is about £800. Here's how it all breaks down (rounded amounts) - A spouse visa costs £1500 + £1200 IHS fees, equaling £2700. Fiance is £1500. NO IHS fees FLRM after marriage in the UK is £1000 + £1000 IHS fees. Total £3500 £3500 -£2700 = £800 Thanks, this pretty muc...

Re: Family Visa UK help!

I thought the NHS surcharge fee was a total of GBP 400 per year for non-EUs. https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-application/how-much-pay It is, but the initial Spouse visa is issued for 33 months and calculated accordingly. In the link below choose: Applying alone (not the 'joining someone' ...

Re: Family Visa UK help!

I received a message stating that we'd have to pay for: 1. Family Visa as a fiancee (£1,523) 2. Then we'd have to apply for a Family Visa as a spouse from inside the UK (£1,033) + any NHS surchage fees If this is definitely true, then isn't it just easier and cheaper for me to marry her in the Stat...

Family Visa UK help!

My fiancee is an American citizen and I am British. We plan to marry in the UK then permanently live here. My understanding is that she must apply for a Family Visa as a fiancee, get married in the UK, then apply for the Family Visa again as a spouse. If this is the case, wouldn't it just be cheaper...
