Re: Dependant children of skilled worker visa

Children born in the UK If you have a child while you’re in the UK, they do not automatically become a British citizen. You must apply for your child’s dependant visa if you want to travel in and out of the UK with them. The form you fill in depends on whether your child is inside or outside the UK...

Re: Dependant children of skilled worker visa

HI,

Thanks for the response.

Can I pay only IHS or do I have to apply visa for them?

If I apply for them once I get the ILR, would there be any complications when it comes to IHS and their stay in UK?

Thanks

Dependant children of skilled worker visa

Hello experts, I came here as student dependant 2017 and switched my visa to skilled worker in 2019. I have 2 kids born here. I never applied visa for them because I never intended to travel which I informed in my visa extension when HO asked me if you have child dependants then why are you not appl...

Re: Tier2 child dependants

Do I need to pay the IHS since they were born? You apply and pay only for the application you are making for the children. Have they had periods of no valid visa in the UK? Your post is not very clear. I have never applied for their visa since they born in the UK. My ILR is due next year in Decembe...

Tier2 child dependants

Hello Experts, Admin, please approve this ASAP. I was on a Tier4 dependant visa and then switched to a Tier2 visa back in 2019. During the Tier2 application, I applied only for my wife as a dependant but not for my 2 years old son. HO sent me a letter to find out if I have any child dependant and if...

Re: Extend with a new employer

Hi lolo2,
Thanks for your response.

Actually when I say extend that means my current vis is going to expire next month and I am going to extend with a new sponsor.

Yes, I have met the English requirement in my previous application.

Thanks,
Bilal

Extend with a new employer

Hi, I am in a position to extend my Tier2 visa but with a different employer so my question is, Do I still need to meet the English language requirements? What I understand from the below link is that "You’ll only need to provide other evidence again if you’ve been in the UK for less than one year."...

Sponsor change the company name

Hi All, I would like to know, what will happen to the company's sponsor license (Tier2) if a company changes its name? My company told me that you will still be employed/sponsored under the same company's sponsor license because it's just the company name we will change as the company's registration...

Re: Tier2 5 Years route

If you applied from outside UK, you got a visa sticker on your passport and a BRP. Check the date of issue on both of them. The earlier one of these two is the starting point of your 5y qualifying period. If you applied from within the UK, use the BRP date. Assuming your starting point is on 1/12/2...

Re: Tier2 5 Years route

On my Cos the work start date was September 2019 to September 2022 which makes 3 years but the visa was given to me from Dec 2019 to September 2022 which makes 2 years and 9 months. I don't know why HO did not mention the start date of September 2019 on the BRP. Now If I apply for 2 years extension ...

Tier2 5 Years route

Hi All, I am on a tier2 visa which is now called Skilled Worker Visa. I have been given the visa for 2 years 9 months whereas my CoS was for 3 years and I think that was because of a delay in the visa process time back in 2019. So my question is if apply for 2 years extension now which will make my ...

English requirements for Tier2 extension

Hi Experts, I have a couple of questions regarding my Tier2 visa extension. 1- Are there any English language requirements for Tier2 visa extension like I did IELTS on the first application which is now expired? 2- I will be applying under the same job SOC (2135) and the same company so that means I...

Re: Tier2 work from home

It would be interesting to know the outcome/response from home office. If employer says work from home on a daily basis then it's almost like having an overseas/remote employee; however, in this day and age work from home is part and parcel of modern working practices. Btw, just checked my CoS and ...

Re: Tier2 work from home

If its my company's responsibility then what steps they should take to comply with the rules. Do they only need to update my work address on SMS? OR inform home office manually? Either way, it is not your problem or responsibility. Your employer will take care of this. If they don't know what to do...

Tier2 work from home

Hi, I have got my Tier2 General visa last month. My employer is open to allow me work from home but I am not too sure whether it's gonna breach any law or is it sponsors responsibility. If its my company's responsibility then what steps they should take to comply with the rules. Do they only need to...
