Re: ILR through Tier 2 General experience sharing

PS: Just make sure you never submit your application before the 5 Years minus 28 days which you can do here: https://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html

PS: There is no rush as you will be able to get appointments for the next day so no need to worry

Re: LIFE IN UK

Thanks for the clarification. Could you please send me a link for the guidance where that is stated. I have just realised that you have hijacked someone else’s thread. Please do not post any further questions here. Start a new topic of your own. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/u...

Re: LIFE IN UK

Does that mean your visa expiry date is irrelevant once you submitted the application online even if the appointment is due after the visa expires? Also could you please guide to the guidance where that is mentioned. Date of application is the date you pay and submit. Once you submit in time (befor...

Re: ILR - Bank Statement and Payslip Date after submitting application

The date of your application is the date of online submission. Documents must be dated before that I just need to confirm that please as I am planning to submit a couple of days before the next payslip and bank statement. I have called the UKVI call center and they are not sure. Could you please gu...

Re: ILR Application through Tier 2 General question

Thanks, guys even with no one replied. I just thought to share the answer and hope it will help others. 1- If you are unable to provide a letter from your previous employer, All you need to do is to complete a cover letter explaining the reason why you haven't managed to get the letter and that's al...

Re: Bank statements and payslip (ILR TIER 2 ROUTE)

Yes, that's correct but still, some provide the last 12 months payslips anyway. At the end of your application submission, you will get a list of all required documents which is normally last month's payslip and bank statement mainly. Also, I have been recommended to stamp the bank statement if it's...

Re: ILR Application -When did you first enter the UK (Tier 2 General)

Thimira, They only care about the visas that you have been granted so you definitely can apply for ILR by around 06/Nov/2019 onwards and you don't have to worry as this is 100% correct. You may satisfy yourself more by calling UKVI on 03001232241 and pick option 4 then option 1 and they will confirm...

Re: ILR Application -When did you first enter the UK (Tier 2 General)

Still, I am having confusion with ILR eligible date. Can I apply for the ILR 28 days before 02/12/2019 (After 4/11/2019) or is it 28 days before 13/01/2020 (After 05/12/2019)? It's counted from the day that your first leave has been granted which is 04/12/2014 so I would suggest that you apply by 1...

Re: ILR Application -When did you first enter the UK (Tier 2 General)

Hi Leo, Regarding your questions, I hope these answers would be helpful to you: Am I eligible to apply for ILR based on my First Sponsor and First visa granted date? (Based 02/12/2014 date I am eligible 28 dates before 02/12/2019. Is this correct? The only thing you need from your first employer is ...

Re: ILR Application through Tier 2 General question

Precisely. That was issued since the beginning of August 18 and covering till the time of the ILR application.

Also, think it might be useful to add that I haven't left the UK between September 2017 till November 2018
