Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

I received an e-mail with notification that my stage 2 Tier-1 visa application was successful yesterday on Nov. 25th. I should receive the BRP in the post in ten or fewer days.

This could be useful in future for others. Best of luck to everyone else!

Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

Hi, adventure-capitalist I just wanted to ask if you added a bank statement to your application? Hi tier1researcher, No. I was not required to submit any bank statement information and did not submit an extra one. If you've received your endorsement letter on October 28th like you said, you should ...

Re: How to obtain a UK driving licence and do not lose an EU driving licence?

I hold an American, a German, and a UK driving licence. As far as I understand it you have two options: 1) Swap your EU licence for a UK one. You might not get the physical card for your EU licence back, but the license number stays on record in your home country should you ever need to resurrect it...

Re: UK citizen pregnant with US citizen's baby

It is very expensive to have a baby in a hospital in the USA. The average cost hovers around 30K. You will probably need/want health insurance, unless you are secretly super rich. ;) As you probably know, health insurance is by and large run through employment in the USA, it also depends on what kin...

Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

Hi adventure-capitalist, Did you have to submit the letter the home letter gave you when you completed your stage 2 application? Hello again, I don't think so. I do remember uploading the letter as part of the required documents for the biometrics appointment with Sopra Steria. In theory, they shou...

Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

Hey adventure-capitalist, Another stupid question, do you have to give away your passport? And do you need to give away your current BRP which is valid for your stay in the UK? Any idea when you apply from within the UK, you will get Visa on your passport and within 10 days you need to collect BRP?...

Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

Hey, I am still awaiting to hear from Tech Nation. My timelines so far: Application Submitted - 25 September 2019 URN Received - 10 October 2019 I am surprised how adventure-capitalist received the results in 16 days. Unless applied to stage 1 as fast-track. Apologies to ask this question again as ...

Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

adventure-capitalist oh sorry if I caused any offence, the word I was looking for wasn't fast track, it was priority service (https://www.gov.uk/faster-decision-visa-settlement). Although, after looking at your answer I see that you did not. Yes it does help, thank you very much Don't worry! No off...

Re: Has anyone received their letter since the rules changed

I submitted my Tech Nation application on Sept 30th (one day before the aforementioned Tech Nation rule-change) from inside the UK. I received a letter of endorsement on Oct 15th. I applied for Stage 2 that same day on Oct 15th and gave biometrics in Croydon on Oct 17th. Now I am not so patiently w...
