Does my indefinite leave to remain stay valid if I change nationalities?

So i'm just adding this question to my pre-existing topic: I'm currently of Indonesian nationality with Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK and have been leaving here for almost 15 years now. I'm born to a French passport-holder (my father) and I was wondering if I changed from Indonesian to French...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Hi, this might seem like a silly question but I'd rather be precautious. I just went for my appointment today to give my biometrics including fingerprints, but I had a cut on my thumb which my officer didn't ask about. Were they meant to acknowledge any scars/cuts and will this influence anything? t...

You need to upload the passports entirely.
all of the pages of every single passport? Including all of the empty pages in the middle?

BRP Application - mandatory passports to my appointment?

Hi there, I'm currently applying for a BRP with my appointment at one of the UKVCAS centres this coming Monday. I've been through the checklist and have uploaded all the required documents such as proofs of residence, address etc etc onto the website. However I'm unsure about when it talks about my ...

Re: Indefinite Leave To Enter - Expired?

Point is if you are happy to deal with the ignorance then let it be.. Carry ur current passport plus the one containing the vignette. Carry a copy of the statement that allows you to do so and show to airlines and immigration officials in other countries. Even then not everyone’s gonna believe you....

Re: Indefinite Leave To Enter - Expired?

It has no expiry date,as such, just as long as ur passport. You’ll need a BRP to travel. On my ILE visa in my passport, there is an expiry date of 01/06/2008 (two years after it was valid). This is what has caused so much confusion at embassies and airlines as they claim my visa has expired. I read...

Indefinite Leave To Enter - Expired?

I'm Indonesian passport holder, I was born there and my mum is Indonesian passport holder too. When she married my British stepdad, I was granted ILE and my mum entered on a spouse visa and was granted ILR. They were both granted in 2006, however my ILE visa appears to have an expiry date of 2008. N...
