Re: Spouse visa Status - midst Covid-19

Applications are online now. Like everyone, they should be working from home and still processing applications. This is so dumb if they have completely stopped working. I get call centres closing cos you have to be there physically to a point but not the actual HO.

Re: Spouse visa application in India and corona

What happens to all the applications that made in December. It's honestly so frustrating. It's bad enough they don't tell you but now it will be worse!

The least they could is email to let the applicants knows the process will be delayed further due to the situation.

Keep your passport service - VFS

Hi, A month back we received an email asking to submit the passport back in as the application has been assessed. But we had to get the passport back to extend the visa. Is it worth submitting the passport back again or should we wait for another email asking to submit the passport back in? We are a...

Re: Application being reviewed

I know how your heart sinks when you receive news about your application ;) It's like me when I see a letter from the DVLA. But most often than not, these notifications are automatic as your application is being processed. They have no significance. They are not positive, they are not negative. You...

There is nothing to worry about. Anxiety makes you second guess any communication from the Home Office. Wait for your decision and hopefully it's positive.
Thank you! Hope for the positive news too :)

Application being reviewed

Hi all, I am just wondering if someone can help. I submitted my bio metrics on the 24th of December 2019 and I got an email about a month back to submit my passport as the application has been assessed but I still have not got a response. I did call them a couple of days back and they said the decis...

Re: Please submit your pasport

Hi,

Has anyone been in a situation where they kept the passport when applying for visa. IF so, how long did they take to give a decision after submitting the passport?

I got it submitted today to VAC. Does it state anywhere about when we will receive further email about a decision?

Thanks,

Escalation of Spouse visa - Standard

Hi All,

I want to ask on if it's possible to escalate the spouse visa after 30 working days like you can do with the priority visa?

Also can a lawyer help with the escalation process only can a MP help? My timeline is short, it's not been a month yet but just curious.

Thanks,
Fareedh

Refund of Application

Hi All,

I withdrew my application and requested for a refund due to not being able to keep my passport while using priority service. I did not submit my biometrics either. How long do they normally take to give me a decision about my refund?

Thanks,
Fareedh

We are planning to keep the passport while the application is being processed. I wanted to ask, if there is a a time limit on how soon we would have to submit the passport to get the visa stamped onto the passport if a positive decision has been made. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

The receipt for gifts does not stand on its own as proof of genuine and subsisting relationship, it's among other evidence as trips ticket/boarding possess, pictures, communication evidence etc
Yes of course. It ties up with everything.

Re: Letter for arranged marriage

What did you think of the letter I posted above? Too much emotion. It needs to be practical and straight to the point. You should be aware that the HO are very over worked and don’t have time to read every single letter with emotion. They are trained to check for applications that meet the rules. M...

A letter is not required.
