Re: Lost ILR to New BRP

There is no acknowledgement letter. It is 6 months from the date of Biometrics Hello Zimba, I have a reply from UK visa and immigration below. Thank you for your email correspondence of 16 May where you have raised a complaint about the delay in completing your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) appl...

Re: received letter after 6 months after apply for BRP due to lost ILR

I’ve sent them a cover letter explaining I don’t have to original passport as it’s lost. Also provide them the police report. I’ve sent it back in end of feb. Still heard nothing. Sigh!! I started this application back in sept. Waiting anxiously!

Re: BRP Application with ILE/ILR

Thank you so much for ur reply. I really appreciate you take ur time to answer my questions. All they have ask me was the original passport, or the document shows I have ILR, which unfortunately Both I’ve lost. They only give me 14 days to reply and it just happens I was away for few days. So by the...

Re: received letter after 6 months after apply for BRP due to lost ILR

I don’t have the copy of the ILR, it’s so silly of me not keeping a copy. Yeah I’ve sent them the crime reference number as that’s all they have given me. So I hope that’s sufficient. Waited 6 months for this, I wish they had ask me sooner rather than don’t know how much longer would I need to wait ...

Re: BRP Application with ILE/ILR

Just a quick update, even though my evidence wasn’t as robust as it should’ve been, my application for a BRP to replace my lost ILR vignette was successful. I’d imagine it had more to do with the fact I had ILR already, whereas had I been applying for settled status for the first time I imagine it ...

received letter after 6 months after apply for BRP due to lost ILR

I applied for NTL as lost my ilr stamped passport. I already have a new passport since then as the ILR stamped passport was a very old one. I have reported my ILR being lost to police and apply for NTL BRP. after 6 months of waiting, today I got a letter asking me to produce my passport which has th...

So looks like we will be waiting long. 😔 will keep u posted! @Bbkay Received a notification from DX Delivery that brp will be delivered today. Did you receive yours yet? So happy for u. ...

Re: Travelling abroad when UK ILR to BRP transfer application is under processing

First of all, you should not get immigration advice from HO telephone lines as they are manned by third parties and usually dish out incorrect advice. A visa to BRP transfer is NOT a visa application and so it is not withdrawn if you leave the UK (unlike a pending visa application) Hi Zimba. Sorry ...

Re: Travelling abroad when UK ILR to BRP transfer application is under processing

A BRP application has no effect on your travel. You can travel and return using your old sticker Hi Zimba. I also have similar issues but when I rang to HO they said I can’t travel as there’s an application in progress, and that if I travel it will automatically withdraw the current application? I ...

Re: travelling outside EU while awaiting for BRP decision (passport with IRL in hand)

I read in the forum that travelling outside the EU should be avoided while waiting for the BPR but wondered having a valid passport and ILR would make a difference. Who said such thing ??! Travel outside the UK for people who have a pending immigration application is an issue. HOWEVER a Visa transf...

Re: BRP(RC) applications

@Bbkay I'm curious when did you do your biometrics? was it on the 4th of September? and I think if you were to reapply with a premium service that would cancel your current application and make it a premium one. Hi. Yes I submitted the application on 4th sept n did biometrics on 9th sept. I’ve enqu...
