Share Code to Prove Immigration Status

Hi all, My wife received ILR recently. A mortgage provider is asking for share code to prove immigration status. We provided her right to work share code (shows no limit to stay in UK) which they are not accepting. We tried to access the prove immigration website using passport and other details use...

SET (LR) Query

Hello all, I have recently started SET LR application for my wife. She completed her 10 year long residence in August. I and children have British citizenship. When filling up the application, there's a section where they ask about if she have any other reason to stay in UK. In this case, should we ...

Many thanks. They didn't send any attachments with the email. I have replied and requested to proceed with the application. I hope they would consider. I am gutted to miss out on this exact date thing. :(

Re: Please Help! Confused with the email from HO

There is no discretion to waive this mandatory requirement. Have you posted the whole email? Did they ask if you wish to redeclare? This is the email. What would be the best step? :( I refer to your application for naturalisation as a British citizen under section 6(1) of the British Nationality Ac...

Re: Please Help! Confused with the email from HO

This has nothing to do with when you got ILR. For citizenship applications, it is a mandatory requirement to have been physically present in the UK at the start of the 5 year qualifying period. Based on the email, you were not in the UK 5 years ago corresponding to the date you applied for citizens...

Please Help! Confused with the email from HO

I have received this email this morning. Can someone please explain what's wrong with my application? I was granted ILR on 26 November 2020. I refer to your application for naturalisation as a British citizen under section 6(1) of the British Nationality Act 1981. A person applying under this sectio...

Address Change in Naturalization Application

Hello all, I am now eligible to apply for naturalization (from 26th Nov). However, my current address could change in a month or two as I am buying a house. Re: FLR(M) decision taking longer than expected

I thought switching from Dependant visa to FLR(M) would be easier. That definitely needs chasing, as her employer has notified that the current leave which was automatically extended (IA 3c) will expire on July.

FLR(M) decision taking longer than expected

Hello all, My wife is switching from Tier 2 Dependant to Spouse visa FLR(M), as I received my ILR last November. We applied on 2 January 2021 and biometrics were done on 19 February 2021. Have you answered any of these questions in a previous application?

You may want to check so as to give consistent answers.
No. I have not come across this questions before.

Re: FLR (M) queries

Thanks again @TODMATT. :) I am a bit confused about "When did you start living together in a relationship? " and "Where have you lived together?". :? Should that be the current UK address, even though we are living together since 2010 (from home country)? If I understood correctly, the items of corr...

FLR (M) queries

Hello all, I will be applying for my wife's FLR(M) visa, as I recently received my ILR. She has been in dependant visa since 2012 (currently Tier 2 dep.). I have done a dummy application, it seems FLR(M) application is the most complicated one I have come across. If anyone could provide some advice ...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I submitted my daughter's (14 months old) citizenship (14m old) application on 3rd Dec. However, the latest biometric appointment I could book is on 31 Dec. On 4th Dec, received an email from HO with a case ID saying that application has been received and is being considered. It may take up to six m...

Re: British Citizenship Queries: Child

Thanks for that information. I guess I would have to take a chance with the current referees, as it will be difficult to get hold of GP or health visitor at this time. I am not sure about the document to prove that a referee dealt in a professional capacity is not available though.

Re: British Citizenship Queries: Child

My concern is why a doctor/health visitor would share personal info like address, DoB, passport no etc. which are required.
