First time passport application

Hi all. I was just wondering if you don’t have any bills in your name would it be okay to submit a bank statement and a P60 from tax office for proof of address and name?

I know can’t send documents at the moment just want to gather everything I need and have it ready to go

Anyone here who got approved and paid the fee in jan/feb 2020 still waiting on affidavit to be emailed to them like myself :/ ? I applied July 2019 , got second letter round October 2019 , got approved in February 2020 just marginally miss out on ceremony back then and then covid hit 😩 so delighted to finally see a finish line

Got my email finally,, they said they had already sent it to me but it mustn’t have went through because I didn’t get it originally so they sent it again :)

I was just wondering are the 4000 applicants being sent the affidavits only those who got an approval letter to pay the €950 back before March 2020 and the ones who got the same approval letter recently? Just wondering for my mom’s application

With regards renewal of IRP card unfortunately after 20th January when automatic renewal ends it’s up to ourselves to ensure our residency cards are in date. The vast majority of people who were approved back in February did not get to attend the March ceremony I would say only half of them did as there was also meant to be one in July for the remainder but that did not do ahead due to Covid.
