Re: British Citizenship for a refugee

What I understand from the post is that your partner entered the UK and claimed asylum as soon as he arrived at the airport, that doesn't constitute illegal entry however there is a missing part in your narrative about why he took long time to get granted refugee status approx 3 years after he appli...

Re: Gross Misconduct in relation to British Citizenship

Sorry for misunderstanding, I think PNC doesn't hold like this information as long as it keptaway from legal course. Yet HO control a massive number of accesses to personal information beyond the PNC itself.

Re: Gross Misconduct in relation to British Citizenship

You should wait for the court outcome regarding your appeal. It is highly likely that HO will wait for this as well if you provide them with a clean SAR. I feel so sorry for you however try to hire a reliable lawyer.

Best wishes.

Re: Gross Misconduct in relation to British Citizenship

In a nutshell, you need to request a SAR from your local police and check what is information they hold against you. The home office, for citizenship applications, carry out a vast numbers of checks some of which could return with negative results in terms of what you have just mentioned above. Subj...

Re: British Citizenship Application - Good character query

As far as I know it will never be a problem however you should declare this quite clearly in your application. Me my myself have had a DVLA fine in 2020 for no insurance I paid it straightforwardly and declared it in my application with no evidence of payment provided and luckily got my approval in ...

Re: Email confirming successful application for naturalisation

Good evening, I applied for naturalisation in December. I am wondering what happens if the applicant doesn't receive the confirmation email that the application has been successful. Let's say the email was sent but not received. Will the HO send a letter? Emails can get lost or end up in spam, and ...

He has applied for what?!
The only question that I know asks previous applications to UKVI.

She should, if that the case, send an urgent letter to HO informing them all visas and BC applications her husband applied to in and out of the UK.

Can I just check does the waiting time of 6 months start when you apply or when you give your fingerprints. For some that is 1 month apart.
It starts when you submit and pay your online application. The biometrics enrolment is stage in application process.

Reading all these refusals, and seeing the reasons that they refused people for, I'm now slightly worried! I don't know why! as far as I know, I'm not an over stayer but there was a period between 2004 and 2006/7 that I was sort of battling with the HO. I can't remember what it was about and why! I...

Are the approval emails sent out on Monday's only?
As far as I know, they are not confined to specific week days. However due to Covid-19 restrictions caseworkers are likely working from home( weekends) that is why an influx of applications desicions sent on Mondays.
