Children Citizenship - Born Inside the the UK and Outside the UK

Hello Team, I hope all is well. I am trying to understand the consequences of having our child born outside the UK due to some work commitment that would require us to relocate outside the UK temporarily. Bit of context: I was granted ILR in 2023, and Citizenship in April 2024. My wife is still pend...

So my wife can apply for citizenship once I attend the ceremony and have the certificate, not before. Ok, thank you for the confirmation.

BC Spouse Application

Hello Team, What is the proof of the British Citizenship of a spouse? Should it be a passport? naturalisation certificate? or would the email from the Home Office be sufficient? I am asking to determine the soonest possible my time for my wife to apply for citizenship as we have an urgent family mat...

Time period to book biometrics and enter the UK after approval

Hello Team, I have two questions about time periods. For Skilled Worker Dependent applying from outside the UK. 1. What is the maximum period of time to book the biometrics appointment after submitting the application online? 2 months? 3 months? Etc. 2. What is usually the validity of the entry visa...

Absences from the UK

Hello Team, I have two questions about travels. 1. Does it have a bad affect on my AN citizenship application if I have 88 days of absences in the last 12 months, or would it be ok as long as it is less than the maximum allowed absences (90 days)? 2. Are there any restrictions on the travels/absence...

Re: AN Form - Required Documents

As the document checklist only lists: - Passports - BRP - Degree Certificate - Referees Declarations I don't think I need the consent form, especially if I am not attaching bills or joint bank statements. To summarise, I will only upload the required documents in the checklist, with no additional do...

AN Form - Required Documents

Hello Team, I have filled the AN form, and I have few questions, I would appreciate your insight. 1. Should I scan all passports pages to show stamps? or just the information page? 2. Beside the the document list generated at the end of the application, in your experience, should I add any other doc...

Re: Childcare - public fund access

Thank you. I understand that we meet the requirement for the childcare since one parent has the ILR. And that we will be approved if we apply.

However, I want to check if applying for childcare would affect my partner's ILR application in the future?

Best,

Childcare - public fund access

Hello Team, If one parent has ILR, and the other is still on dependent visa (no access to public fund). Would it be ok if the parent with ILR applied for the 30-hour childcare? Or should we wait until the both parents are on ILR? to make sure the other parent didn't break the rule of not accessing p...

Re: MN1 (registration) - Referral Process

Thanks for the reply. Regarding point3, regardless of how I will submit the document, the signature on the back of the picture won't be visible, is that ok ? Secondly, and most important, do the Home Office contact the referrals? So I need to choose referrals who are available and accessible online?...

MN1 (registration) - Referral Process

Hello Team, I am filling my kids' MN1 registration online forms. And I came across the referrals part, and I have few questions: 1. Can anyone be a referral ? neighbors, friends, etc ? 2. Re: MN1 (registration) applicants travelling

2. Their BRP will still be valid, but when they get to the immigration control, should they declare that they are citizens -if they receive approval by then- ? Or should they just enter the country as my dependents without declaring anything?

MN1 (registration) applicants travelling

Hello Team, If my kids are applying for registration (MN1), and planning on travelling after we submit their applications. 1. Would their application be voided, similar to ILR application ? Or are citizenships applications are treated differently? 2. If it is ok for them to travel, would their BRP b...

Hello Vinny, Thank you for your comment, but her study will NOT cease before the end date recorded on the Certificate of Acceptance for Studies, as she was granted a 4 months beyond the end date recorded on the CAS.
