Please go for Visa and Nationality services of NARIC. They will provide you with certificates of English proficiency and academic qualification . If you get both of these certificates from NARIC, it will suffice.

No you don’t need to leave UK to switch from Tier 4 dependent to Tier 2 general.

I think Shortage occupation has 320 points as per the latest October home office notification.

Tier 2 application: What will you use to prove your degree taught in English:

While filling up Tier 2 general form,

it asks for 'What will you use to prove your degree taught in English? (Required): Degree certificate or Official transcript or letter'

I have both.

Is there any reason in the background for selecting either of them ?
