Does the kids count in this situation also? Children, yes. Here's the link from that email: https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/entry-exit/non-eu-family/index_en.htm Under EU rules, you have the right to travel together with your core family members (non-EU spouse, children, dependent pare...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Slightly Off topic But I’m hoping someone can answer. When I join FBR (should be any week or so now I hope) and subsequently apply/get my Irish passport I’ll be the only one within my family (wife & 2 kids) who has one alongside my UK passport. The wife & kids are UK passport holders. When it comes ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Does anyone know if ID documents that expire during the wait are still usable by the FBR team. I just remembered that my driving license expired in Oct 2020, it has been renewed but given that my fbr docs were sent to Dublin in March 2020, the fbr team obviously have the old license. I’m also pretty...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Yeah I don't think FBR Team numbers are particularly relevant. Though not all teams are equal it seems. They work at different speeds. The members of each team are not likely to be the same people 1 or 2 years down the line anyway. They seem to all be on their holidays, everyone else ack to work ex...

They really need to get back to work. Organisations throughout the world have found ways of getting themselves back to work & being productive. I’m far from the front of the Q in my application but I’m sick of the Covid excuses, enough is enough. It’s not as if we’ve all just paid a tenner for this...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I have to say, the fact that the office is likely now closed again all the way until at least April is absolutely insane. I could understand the office being closed during the first lockdowns, when this situation was new and the whole world was caught by surprise and shut down, but they've now had ...
