Re: Enquiry

Thanks TODMATT for the guidance. As for the line that states ‘ The applicant’s first grant of limited leave under this Appendix must have been as a partner’, Does that mean that someone initially admitted to the U.K. as a parent under appendix fm then switched to the 10 year partner route cannot rel...

Switch to partner, over 18 dependent child

Hello there, I wanted to ask a few delicate question for future decision and I’d be glad if moderators could advice on this. I got granted leave to remain as a parent(of one British) following an asylum refusal less than a year ago, along with all my kids(non British, nearly spent 7 years in the U.K...

Re: FLR FP 7 Year Child rule absence query

Is there a qualifying child? You should establish from the application or claim the age and nationality of each child affected by the decision. Where the child is a foreign national, you should establish their immigration history in the UK (for example how long have they lived in the UK and where t...

Re: 10 year private life route visa

You might even qualify under long residence earlier if you add the application processing l time and perhaps appeal time before you were granted in 2012. For example, if you applied in jan 2011 and you were granted in july 2012, you 10 years legal residence starts from 2011 therefore you can apply ...

It’s going to be a bumpy 2021 for the Home office if all carers could work together.

Re: 10 year private life route visa

Hi there, this is something my son brought up last week. I think you’d have to apply under ilr long residence. I’m guessing the 10 year private life extension till 2025 is due to the processing time after every extensions application you’ve made as I don’t think it Count towards it. Hopefully @moder...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

Hello shooroma, One of my dependent brp is missing too. He was born here so I’m not sure if that’s the problem. I’ve reported it 4 times and they haven’t responded to me. Also my lawyer thinks I’m throwing away a good opportunity when I told her I’m cancelling my appeal today because she says I have...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

Hello :)
Update: I have now received brp cards after long wait. I’ve also received a letter today that’s says me and my kids are going to be evicted in 28 days. Not the best news for me as we’d have to be moving during festive season but either way I give glory to God.

Has anyone ... actually received their confirmation of status and BRP recently? Many thanks Hello Jcpren, No I haven’t and it’s been nearly three months since I got granted. Re: Brp after family life decision (asylum route) COVID 19

Hi again,
We got biometric letters in June when we got granted leave but the number in that is not going through. Apparently I need to receive a new letter in order for them to book me in. I’ll contact the caseworker team.
