Hello All,

I reached uk last evening.

I assure you guys that there is NO need for protector stamp. I did not have it on my passport and no one bothered. If you guys wanna waste money, time and energy going for it, be my guest but you will be fine without it.

^ Uzma, as far my knwoledge is concerned 1) ITR is not necessary for EC (if you didnt submit it with HSMP docs) 2) your job salary in your bank account is NOT a MUST by any means. Other more knowledgable people can either confirm or correct what I said. Good luck. I myself am gonna apply in mid jan.

I have a visit visa for UK and HSMP approval

I might have to go to UK for an urgent purpose on a VISIT visa. Even though I am thinking of applying for EC asap, this is a matter which needs immediate attention.

I was wondering if I can apply for FLR and change of status from visit to
HSMP once I am there?
