Re: JUST MARRIED. EEA FM OR PRE SETTLED STATUS?

Ok, that's a good thing. The Home Office doesn't always investigate marriages even if the future wife/husband is undocumented. I think they are tipped off by Registrars when they feel that obviously the relationship is not genuine. When you go there to declare your intention to marry they observe y...

Re: Pre-settled EU citizen, married to non EU international student in UK

Students cannot verify identity via the app as you need a BRC (and not a BRP) to do that. Not what the EU Settlement Scheme page says: Proof of identity You need a valid passport or national identity card. You also need to provide a digital photo of your face. If you’re not an EU, EEA or Swiss citi...

Re: Can I leave the UK with pending PR application?

Having said that, i think you should just give them a call - they are not too hard to reach on the phone. If they say you CAN travel, i would try to get a written confirmation of that as well. Just to be on the safe side. Thanks for your advice. I called them. The lady said that wording is mostly f...

Your concerns are almost identical to those expressed by another member in this post , read it. 1: How many months in advance can i apply for EU settle status before expiry date? You don't apply to Settled Status. You apply for The EU Settlement Scheme, and the system decides which one of Pre-Settl...

Re: EU family member - Settlement Application - No prev BRC

Please note that option 1 is not for people without a BRC, it just simply doesn’t work with a BRP. Sure, I never meant to suggest that. Quite the contrary, my comment is supposed to mean that without a BRC you cannot chose this option. Sorry if that was not clear. nowhere throughout the application...

When was or is your biometrics registration? They will probably take the copy of your passport during that appointment.
I did the biometrics on January 2.

Not only didn’t they do that, they also told me they know nothing about proof of identity.:-(

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi Lisa, I'm the non-EU family member of an Irish citizen and I didn't have to send my passport in. They check all that at the biometrics appointment along with the fingerprints and photos. It might be a very stupid question, but I am doing the same, so thought someone might advise me here. Applyin...
