Re: Digital referee forms

Signing the pictures on the back is not required, that's a left over from the paper days. I would suggest you just attach picture and then give/send to referees and get them to write in their details and sign, and return to you for scan/upload. Might be an idea to give them an instruction what they ...

Digital referee forms

I'm done filling up the application! But I'm in doubt how to handle the referee forms. Is it okay, to add the image to the PDF, type the details and append the signature's scan to each form? Since this is sent digitally and not physically to HO? Or do they have to hand write it on the form and ...

Change address while awaiting ILR Replacement card?

I applied for a replacement BRP card when I lost it a month ago, and the application asked for a proof of address, which I provided at the time with a bank statement. I just moved to another address and am not sure if a change of address report will affect the ongoing application? I don't have ...

Re: ILR Life in uk fail

You need to prove by a medical practitioner that you're not able to take the exam, here's the form that needs to be filled in by them to include in your application. How did you study it? There's a very resourceful website, lifeintheuktestweb look for the 'exams' section that makes it a lot easier ...

Re: How will I know my application is complete?

You will receive an email "Application Update" right after they make a decision, then you will receive your BRP in the post within 7 days usually with tracking email sent separately once it's dispatched.

Re: ILR application and the letters

All digital evidence is now accepted. Just use digital evidence Thank you Zimba. ILR application and the letters

I am preparing to submit the ILR application. My employer sent a signed letter as PDF. Do I need to print declaration form and ask the employer to send over the original letter to present them at the biometric centre? Or uploading both separately as PDF is enough?

Many thanks in advance!

Anyone has any idea if that causes an issue? It still sates "required in their current post" which should be reassuring enough for the CW?

No foreseeable future in the letter

My employer is uncomfortable to include "foreseeable future" in the letter. My contract ends in June but it's renewable.
They provided this instead:
"Mr xxx is still employed at xxx as stated by their contract and is required in their current post."

Will this end in refusal?

Re: ILR minimum hours with new skilled worker's guidance

The skilled worker route does not have a minimum number of weekly hours requirement. The guide says: Unlike under Tier 2 (General), there is no minimum number of weekly hours for shortage occupations in the Skilled Worker route, providing the relevant general salary threshold requirements are met ...

Re: Can we Travel Abroad while waiting for BRP

From the approval email that you received must've mentioned:
Do not book travel until you receive your BRP. Doing so may mean that you fail to receive your BRP and that puts you at risk of being unable to prove that you have leave to remain in the UK, and of being refused re-entry into the UK.

ILR minimum hours with new skilled worker's guidance

Due to the covid situation I have a part time offer from my current sponsor with a reduced salary(34k) and reduced hours to 20 a week. I'm a bit confused if that's going to be an issue moving forward with ILR. The company said it's not an issue with the current Tier 2 visa (shortage occupation) I ...
