Re: 2nd CSEP and Permissions

Good Day, I am in the process of waiting for approval on my 2nd CSEP. I served 16 months on my 1st and then got a better opportunity. My Questions: 1. Will I have to re-register my permission with immigration and get a new Stamp 1? 2. How long after receiving my approval will I have to register my p...

Re: IRP Renewal - Change of Permission

They refused and instructed as follows for those post brexit: Post Brexit you application has a fee of 300€. In order to get to the payment page you need to do the following: At the ‘Immigration permission’ section of the form – 1.18 ( permission type for renewal) - select the stamp 4 1.19 ( do any ...

De Facto Process - non-EEA/EU with EU sponsor

Hi all just wondering if someone can direct me to where I can find more on the following: 1. Spanish national sponsor; American applicant 2. In relationship/cohabiting for two years 3. What is the application process for them to come to Ireland under EUTR - de facto/durable? 4. I note visa required ...

Re: IRP Renewal - Change of Permission

I think Withdrawal Agreement Beneficiary is the one you need to go for, since that's how British nationals and their dependants' permissions are processed. https://i.imgur.com/fiWGwD2.png https://www.irishimmigration.ie/required-documents/#withdrawal Withdrawal Agreement Beneficiary: [...] Stamp 4D...

IRP Renewal - Change of Permission

I received my approval letter that I have been moved to Stamp 4D and to renew my IRP online to reflect this. 1. There is no option for renew Stamp 4D, only Stamp 4, as well as, there is no correct corresponding “sub-category” i.e. de facto of UK National (non-EEA creates further drop downs which are...

2023 Naturalisation Applications Approved??

In another forum I follow there is a reported influx of January and February 2023 applications receiving approval/request to pay the €950 already. The amount of 2023 applicants that have received approval is so large that the forum is discussing whether or not to contact the DOJ or media to get clar...

Police Clearance Certificate - NI and Scotland/UK

My partner and I are applying for de facto and one of the requirements is a police clearance certificate. He lived in both NI and Scotland within the past 5 years. We can't seem to ascertain whether he should apply for an ACRO certificate or will need AccessNI for NI and a Disclosure cert for Scotla...

Re: Stamp 1G (graduate scheme) validity start/end date.

Hi folks, I've received stamps based on ISD letters so far. Those either mention a certain end date in the letter or state something like "2 years from the date of this letter". However, I was asked by a person I know about 1G as Graduate Programme - what is start and end date going to be (for onli...

Re: Stamp 4D and De facto

Stamp 4D is for family member of UK nationals. The de facto application itself doesn't have anything to do with the stamp number. They simply tell you in the end which stamp you will be given, if it's granted. Last time I heard the application still takes around a year. Can you confirm if in the wi...

Re: De facto partner - Living together for less than 2 years

Also when waiting for De Facto decision, you won't be able to work (unless your current IRP, valid for a different reason, allows you to do so). I was just wondering if you had any idea the odds of being granted a Temporary Stamp 3 during the waiting period. I saw on the Explanatory Leaflet that it...

Stamp 4D and De facto

I will apply for a Stamp 4D this spring based on my partner and I living together for 2+ years. I know 4D is new-ish so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it? I know the information/necessary documents is more or less the same as that for an EU de facto partner. I assume that all thes...

Re: Looking for advice / 1G expiring soon while waiting for De Facto decision

Really hoping someone can point me in the right direction as the information I have received from INIS has been contradictory. I am currently living in Ireland and working under 1G (graduate). I have applied for De Facto back in May this year. We were hoping to hear back from them by now but a deci...

Re: Stamp 1G Third Level Counting Towards Reckonable Residence Now?

Ok this is a bombshell. The Citizenship team has just confirmed to me that all Stamp 1G permissions count as reckonable residence, regardless of how they were obtained. I am actually shocked, but thrilled personally. I also hope this becoming more public/aware does not change anything in the future...

Re: Stamp 1G Third Level Counting Towards Reckonable Residence Now?

That’s very interesting and could have major implications for a lot of people who were on this stamp. I don’t think it’s correct. The Press Office is seldom directly involved in citizenship process and May have just provided an incorrect piece of advice/ I have sent an RFI to both the Citizenship t...

"Westpheling, a non-EU migrant, had always assumed that her two years on a 1G stamp as a graduate from an Irish university didn’t count. Re: Spouse of Irish National - Criminal Offense

I can only share my experience from years ago. As a former US citizen, I was on a de-facto permission for the first few years before getting married to my Irish husband, I had a couple of traffic offences/fines in the US when I was living there. I remember they've asked me for a police certificate ...

Thanks all for the insight! I will relay the advise/experiences on. Overall, I gathered that in terms of her needing to disclose the traffic violations etc. would be necessary, regardless of them being minor, and I figured that surely they were not denying people for such "criminal offenses". But gi...

Spouse of Irish National - Criminal Offense

My friend and her partner have been together for over 3 years now - she's non-EEA national and he's Irish. We were looking at if they decided to get married if that would be better than renewing her current permission since she would be moved to a Stamp 4 (as my understanding). Upon looking at the i...

I just had a quick couple questions and hopefully someone has any idea re the Ineligible List: 1. I believe I saw somewh...
