OCI - Kids Renewal

Hi all I've just renewed my daughter's passport for the first time (she'll be 5 years old soon). I'm looking to renew her OCI, but I'm not sure which documents I have to upload, is it just her new passport? Also, trying to get a London/Hounslow based appointment is not easy!! Any tips? Thanks a lot ...

Hi I'm a British citizen and my wife is and Indian citizen. My mother in law is coming to visit us for a few months and as she has joint and muscle issues, she has a maid who looks after her so we would like to get an overseas Domestic worker visa for the maid. There is a 5% probability that the mai...

UK Citizen, Indian Spouse with ILR in the UK - Schengen?

hi i've been reading plenty on this forum and elsewhere regarding the need for a schengen visa for spouses of UK citizens with an ILR. I am a British citizen and am married to an Indian citizen who now has an indefinite leave to remain in the UK (ILR). However, the ILR page does not show anything re...

on this note, my wife entered 30 days after the visa began, does that mean we cannot go the premium route to apply for the ILR and we would have to potentially wait 6 months before we can travel abroad as we would have to do a postal application? my preference would obviously be to go the premium ro...

she is taking the life in the uk test on saturday but that's not a worry, she's just completed a masters in law over here and is a fully qualified lawyer from india, so i hope the test isn't too much of a challenge! very annoying that we can't go through the premium service just for the sake of 2 da...

But by appending your message to an old topic you have read out-of-date information. Since 2007 UKBA has changed their policy and it is no longer necessary to "buy a few days" by paying by cheque. That is, as long as the person entered within the 1st 3 months of their 2 year spouse visa then the IL...

can you not get an appointment to apply in person as the decisions for ILR in person are generally done the same day you can but we can only apply 28 days from the date of first entry to the uk on that visa. if we apply on the earliest day, that means that my wife will be here illegally for 2 days,...
