First Adult Passport requiring parent's marriage certificate

Hi guys, I am looking into applying for my first adult passport. I looked at the documents required for applicants who were born in the Philippines and to my surprise, it requires the parent's marriage certificate - even though my parents are non-UK citizens and have no links to the UK. Has anyone e...

Re: IELTS certificate validity?

I called the helpline a second time and the person advised that my IELTS should still be acceptable for my naturalisation application. I received an automated response from nationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk so I don't think my email is going to reach ...

Re: EMAIL FROM HOME OFFICE

Hi Is your english language test was accepted in ILR then you dont need to do a new one for citizenship. I was sent this email last week as well. I contested the home office personnel regarding the rules that are on the HO website and what they are saying in the email. They had to accept that my ol...

Re: IELTS certificate validity?

Have you been refused? Yes, if the certificate was used in a previous successful application it should be acceptable. Thank you for the reply. I have been given until the end of the month to send a new B1 certificate. I gave UKVI a call earlier and the customer service representative said that beca...
