Will visiting Isle of Man while waiting for ILR decision void my application?

Hi, I have submitted my ILR application, completed the Biometrics this week and am waiting for the decision - which I understand can take anywhere from 2 - 6 months. I'm currently working in the Midlands. I am aware that I'm not allowed to travel outside the UK as my ILR application will be voided -...

Re: ILR Application for Tier 2 dependant (5 years short by a few weeks)

Thanks Seagul. Do correct me if I'm wrong, taking 18-Jan-2021 as the 5 year anniversary, my wife will be eligible on 21-Dec-2020 (-28 days) and should upload the docs and book Biometrics anytime after that date.

Re: ILR Application for Tier 2 dependant (5 years short by a few weeks)

Thanks Seagul. This approach appears to satisfy the "calculating relevant qualifying period" criteria. But would I fall foul on the submisssion criteria because I would be submitting online on 15-Dec which is more than 28 days before I reach the end of the specified period (18-Jan-2021)? Or is the s...

ILR Application for Tier 2 dependant (5 years short by a few weeks)

Hi Members, I have some doubts over my wife's application process and hope you could help :) My wife's Tier 2 dependant visa expires on 16-Dec-2020 and she is close to fulfilling the 5 year ILR requirement, but falls short by a few weeks. I (hubby) have already gotten my ILR last year through the sa...

would my child be able to stay on after the end of her 6 month stay.
Has the child ever left the UK?
Yes. After she was born in the UK, she obtained her Singapore passport and went overseas for a month before returning to UK in September 2019.

MN1 Application submitted - what is child's right to stay until MN1 decision is made?

Hi, I have submitted (and paid for) my child's MN1 application online and provided her biometrics last week here in the UK. Child was born in the UK in 2019 and I recently got my ILR (previously I was Tier 2). My child is holding a Singapore passport and can stay in the UK for 6 months without a Vis...
