Any updates on the visa

The UK is leaving the EU on Friday, could it be that the home office is waiting for the exit to implement new guidelines or they are burdened with new policies to meet their exit from the EU?

Yes my first tier 4 for my masters outside the UK took less than 8 days for a decision

I have sent an email to my University to escalate my application since I am behind enrolment. So I gave them my application details and hope they will contact UKVI

I applied outside the UK.
I did my masters there in the UK and completed in 2018 and now going back for my PhD.

Does anyone know of delays for applicants who have previously studied in the UK?

Hi, I also applied for standard application PhD tier 4 visa. I went for my biometrics on the 8th of January and received an email on the 10th from UKVI that my application is not straightforward and they will not be able to meet the 15days deadline.
