Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

I have been waiting since Feb 2020. Good to see a run of approvals coming in from those in the October 2020 and later group who went through the e-vetting process earlier this year. Frustratingly still waiting here, are there others in the same boat? Hope it comes soon! Timeline: Application Date: 1...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Cheers raja.brit & siseñor. I didn't even bother them with sending an email to see the progress of my application. In all their letters they usually say: "please contact us if it is absolutely necessary...". Now I'm thinking to go for FOI and in one month or two, ask a solicitor to send a warning le...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

I have been waiting since March 2020 and now I'm thinking to go for FOI. I didn't bother them in the last 2 years but now that I see people who have applied 6 months after me, are getting their approval, it seems unfair to me. The last update I got from them was my second letter in mid 2020 and the ...

Re: Stamp 1G validity

Hey, My friends had the same story/problem. Her stamp 1G was renewed for 1 year. The main CSEP stamp 4 was renewed for 2 years at the same time. I don't know how they did the renewal exactly, but it was in February this year. I'm just curious, did you set the online renewal application flag for the...

Stamp 1G validity

A question from people who have recently renewed their stamp 1G (Spouse/de facto partner of a Critical Skills Employment Permit holder). how long it has been granted for?

For my wife, it was granted only for one year. Last time it was valid for two years.

Re: online IRP card renewals - mistake in IRP card

Hi all, Did it sort for you. They have stamped 1 instead of 4. I sent emails to them from past two month. No reply yet. I have contacted GNIB, reentryvisa too. They sent the reply saying that they are not responsible. I can't send the documents now or there is no way to contact them. I need stamp 4...

Re: Pending decisions/approvals on applications from 16-17

Is it too harsh to ask data to show which nationalities are worse off when it comes to naturalisation application? You can try but I don't expect the department gives you the statistics easily. However we can get an estimate here in the Forum; By starting a new topic and asking everyone to enter th...

They don't reject like that :-D
Just wait until they give you an application number. Then send them the certified copy and the application number.

Re: Passports will no longer be stamped for IRP renewals

Hi Litterr, One thing to clarify please? Do we also need to send IRP because as per the latest information, you do not need to send your IRP away for renewal. You just need to fill the application online and then they will send you the updated IRP if the application is approved and processed. Many ...

Re: Irp but working in europe

Every single sentence you have said is so wrong that I don't know where to start. Please stop hijacking the thread. Irish citizens are not able to apply for Stamp 4EUFAM (except for scenario above). Simple as that. If you need some entertainment, take a read at the EU Treaty Rights. Be calm my frie...

Re: Irp but working in europe

I really can't digest it @littlerr. Why Ireland? Why are you doing this to us? I did a bit of research on this forum. Realized that it's called reverse discrimination. I'm really pissed off. Although privilege-wise (working and living in Ireland), I don't think it makes much difference. I think the ...

Re: Irp but working in europe

I'm confused. The spouse of an Irish citizen will get stamp 4 and then they need to apply separately for a stamp 4EUFAM which might takes months? I thought the spouse of an Irish citizen automatically gets stamp 4EUFAM. After reading this topic, I'm confused. I'm on Stamp 4 and I was thinking that o...

online IRP card renewals - mistake in IRP card

Hi all, I renewed my registration online and when I received my IRP card, I realized that there is a mistake on my card. My Stamp 4 permission has been renewed for only 1 year even though my passport was valid until 2024. During the last 4 years, I always have got 2 years validity for my stamp-4 per...
