Re: Spousal visa application - confused by 2 years cohabitation requirement

Thanks very much! I've re-checked the application we're definitely filling in the right one, so the inclusion of this 2-year cohabitation thing despite saying we are married makes it confusing. Anyways, thanks for the response :)

Spousal visa application - confused by 2 years cohabitation requirement

Hi - hope everyone is well. I have a potentially daft question... I'm currently in the UK on a Tier 2 General visa, and am now applying for a Spousal visa. My partner and I have only been dating and been living together since September 2020 (1 year only). However we have been close friends for 4 yea...

There is no requirement to submit no years worth of passports.

Your previous old visas are irrelevant.
Cheers! Asking the lawyer why it was needed but just needed to ease my anxiety :)

Tier 2 application - did include old passport as supporting documentation

Hi all, Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this for me - Australian applying for a Tier 2 General out of country (currently have a Tier 2 Dependent visa). I attended the biometric this week, and as part of the documents my solicitor said to include my old passport so the last 10 year...

Re: CoS nearing expiry

Heya, I also have a COS from March. If it helps, my lawyer says you get 3 months to make the visa application from the date you assign the COS (e.g. if you assign on the 15th June, your deadline to make a visa application is 15th September). I would go ahead with it and hope you can make the applica...

Re: Joining work after applying before decision - coronavirus

Hi Sainatha Can you switch T2G Dependent to T2G in UK itself? My visa (T2G Dependent) expires in 2022 but I need to switch to T2G as my employer is ready to sponsor me, even they got COS approved in April. I will not be able to go to India to apply. So Can I apply here itself? Hi professor_nairobi ...

Re: Tire 2 dependent switch to T2G (COVID-19)

hi Sainatha/GG_PM2, have you guys created an application online or yet to do it? Hi, not yet, waiting on confirmation from our lawyer also, but this morning my employer got an email directly from UKVI that contains the below; it's the same as in the original link but paraphrased more clearly. This ...

Re: Tire 2 dependent switch to T2G (COVID-19)

Hi all, hope everyone is keeping well. I'm in the same exact situation but finding the guidance slightly unclear; I'm not sure if this new exception applies to everyone , or only for those whose current visas are expiring at the end of May (the content sits as a subheading to "If you’re in the UK an...
