The list of occupations who can witness the photos is started on the application form, and the application form also tells you that the same person can certify the copy of the passport (notarising a form is different to certifying a copy) - it has to be the same person doing both. We (the spouse and I) are actually retiring this year and are not looking to relocate, so as someone else mentioned, using any of the other visa options to stay beyond 90 days just seems like a lot of hassle. We are altering our plans accordingly, since we may want to visit France during the summer...

Likewise in the same situation, can't trace my grandfather's death certificate so would be interested in the response / solution.
