Presumably you meant that your non-EU wife is the daughter of the applicant, not the mother?
I should also add, if this is of any material importance, that the applicant's grand-daughter (under 18) is an Irish citizen living in UK.

Re: How to successfully apply for EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit for parents-in-law

Hello, we want to apply for EUSS family permit for my mother in law. I am Irish but never bothered applying for EUSS scheme but have a document certifying permanent residence obtained in 2018. My non-EU wife, the mother of the applicant, has a pre-settled status under EUSS scheme. Would someone be k...

I KINDLY ASK ADMIN TO DELETE THIS THREAD. Unfortunately, choosing to aggregate multiple threads into one serve little justice to the distinct questioned I posted. There seem to be several standards and I seem to fall on the wrong end of some of them. As is, this botched threads serves little utility...

Re: Claims for compensation due to EUSS delay

That was only 7 working days ago. Knowing the postal system is experiencing considering delays (and any regular delivery is taking more than that to reach its destination), doesn't seem like you can yet claim the promise has not been delivered. Correct on that point. My point, however, is that UKVI...

Re: Claims for compensation due to EUSS delay

I am rather puzzled for mashing different questions to a single thread by moderators. I am confident that admins are attempting to group similar questions but this thread is a piece-meal atm. How compensation-related question applies to the earlier threads mashed here pertaining to the right to use ...

Claims for compensation due to EUSS delay

Hello everyone, HO has delayed processing the application on behalf of my daughter and we lodged a complaint on 14/01. On 12/02 they upheld our complaint, informing that the visa is granted on 26/01 and it should reach us within a few days. We then contacted our MP, who lodged an enquiry with HO. MP...

Thank you

Re: Does Ireland have the laxest citizenship requirements of any European country?

I'm not originally from Ireland but obtained citizenship through one of my parents. It was quite simple. They were here only 5 years and I got it 1 and a half years later. Many friends I know who have emigrated to places like Austria and Switzerland talk about having to wait 8 to 10 years before ev...

Re: Delay in issuing EUSS family permit

Hello, We are panicking as our timeline for making a move back to UK is severely affected by the UKVI dragging their feet. Here (https://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-route-applications/refusal-of-eea-family-permit-with-no-right-of-appeal-t312310.html) Vinny outlined that it is still possible to app...

Re: Delay in issuing EUSS family permit

Hello, I contacted UKVI via the complaints form and they did not respond within the specific time. I do not foresee them doing that any time soon by scanning the forum. We need to be in UK sooner rather than later because of my work. Delay with issuing an EUSS FP affects our ability to do that. What...

Re: Using expired EEA RC to apply for Settled Status

Does this have to be a valid EEA RC or can an expired car be used for such purposes? Hard question. I was able to find the below in the EU Settlement Scheme Caseworker guidance , page 18: under sub-paragraph (d), for the purposes of the reference to ‘relevant document’ in the first sub-paragraph (b...

Contact your MP. For specific issues like this one, your MP is the official line of communication between you and the Home Office.
Thank you @kamoe, I sent an email to my MP.

No BRP replacement issued for nearly 2 months: what's next after complaint on UKVI

Hello forum My family members have applied to replace EEA RC for EUSS BRP. One of my family members received the pdf letter with the decision in 2 weeks and a physical card in one week following that. The other family member has not received any response since the date of the application (02/10) and...

EE family permit application: finalising the list of documents before the application

Re: Travelling to India In February with Residency card (Family Member EU Residence)

Hi all, I had called the Home Office EU Settlement Scheme Resolution Centre (0300 123 7379) on Thursday morning 10/12/2020 and spoke to a advisor who advised me that the BRC that I currently have which was issued under the EEA regulations will not be valid from the 31st of December 2020 even though...

Re: Applying for EUSS Family Permit for a child: a secondary question pertaining to a non-EEA spouse

My wife, a Russian national, has a pre-settled status and has a valid Article 10 EEA RC valid until 2014. I guess you mean 2024. If she wants to enter the UK before 31/12/2020 that's fine. She can do it as normal. If she wants to enter from Jan 1, 2021, I don't know. I heard both options (@kamoe) 2...
