Re: Supporting documents not returned yet

We were told they will be sent separately. Passport was received but supporting documents including citizenship certificate have still not been returned.

Is there any number I can contact?

Supporting documents not returned yet

Hi all, We sent passport application for my wife a while back. The application was approved and new passport received. They said they will send back the supporting documents (Citizenship certificate, old passports) separately, but it has now been weeks and nothing received. Is there a number we can ...

Re: Citizenship application questions

Hi again. We've submitted the application last week and have got a UKVCAS appointment in two weeks time. We've received a letter from UKVI today saying that they've received and are considering the application. We're confused by the message as we haven't had the UKVCAS appointment yet, and also have...

Re: Citizenship application questions

Sorry I think that's the wrong form for adult Citizenship (MN1 rather than AN). I'll have a look at the online application. It is the same referee declaration form for AN or MN1 does not matter. All referee details are input in the online form itself before online submission. Referee only fills and...

Re: Citizenship application questions

Chemist is on the list. Probably chemist/pharmacist is the same thing. Follow the gov list. No one can tell you if you arrange someone off the list will be accepted or not. You can try if you want. If HO is not happy they will write to arrange another referee. Yeah I was thinking chemist/pharmacist...

Re: Citizenship application questions

Hi again. Question about the sponsor passport please. Is it acceptable to submit the sponsor British passport even if it's expired, or is it safer to renew it if it has been expired? Thanks. Should be okay. How did you (British Partner) acquire your own British Citizenship? Thanks for the reply. I ...

Citizenship application questions

Hi all, Wife received ILR approval recently, and we're planning to submit the Citizenship application ASAP. I was hoping to confirm my understanding of the process with people on this forum please. In terms of application, do we just need to fill the online version? Does each referee need to sign a ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Excited to share that we finally received the SET(M) decision.

We submitted application on 14/09/2020. Been an agonizing wait. The BRP was received 2 days after decision email.

Hope others receive a decision soon, seems to be picking up for September applicants.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

@poper - haha, I know! August and September (together) Set LR summary below. These are only the ones that have been reported. As we know and have seen, some people only post timelines after their application has been approved, so there may be more to come. Total number of applicants = 142 Number of...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi all, Was wondering if there has been any recent stats of approvals for SET(M) applicants who applied in September? Thanks. It looks that processing SET (M) applications is in chaos and no one knows what's going on. It does seem very chaotic indeed :( Tempted to email UKVI. Doubt it'll make any d...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone, I applied for my ILR Set M on 20th August, sent biometrics on 5th September (IDV App). I thought I had a very straightforward case, as in no dependants, both employed, applying in Cat D with cash savings... But still nothing! I've never received any communication either. Just thought I...

Hi all, First thanks for this useful thread. I was wondering if there is any recent stats for SET(M) applications with biometric submitted at end of September this year? Re: Contacting UKVI via email

Hi all. Was wondering if there is any way to contact UKVI via email regarding SET(M) applications? I’m trying to find out what the progress of my wife’s application is. We’ve submitted the biometrics in-person at the end of September. Was hoping to hear something after 2 months but nothing so far. ...

Given that my wife’s FLR is expiring very soon I’m really hoping to try and find something out from UKVI.

.
If you have applied in timely then a mere expiry of your previous visa won't make you overstayer by virtue of section 3C.
Thanks for the reassurance. Just need to wait then :(

Re: Bank statement latest acceptable date

Hi, Hopefully not a silly question  If we have submitted the ILR on 14/09/2020, and the latest bank statement we received by post is dated on the 14th as well (showing latest salary), can we submit that bank statement or do we need one dated before the application date with latest salary show...

Re: Format of employer letter & payslips

Is your employer letter a PDF file or just an email? If PDF, then I hope it's on company letterhead? If it's PDF on company letterhead then just upload the same. Same with e-payslip. Do keep a printouts when you go to your ukvcas appointment though. Yes it's in PDF format and on company letterhead ...
